Sesshoumaru has been warned.  If he is too stubborn to listen to Kaede's warning then it's his own fault.  I just hope that one day he will have to admit that Kaede was right.  I love Kaede!  Thanks so much for the update!  I just wonder how much Kagome's words will affect Kenji?  Can't wait to read more!

Awesome update. Not a lot of insight on the relationship growing between Sesshoumaru and Kagome, but a good insight into Kagome's logic and thinking. I can't wait for the next update.

I just hope in the end Sesshoumaru finally is made a fool of himself by himself, now that will be great! Such a remarkable story!

look I don't mean to mean to you or any thing but youre being super hard on Inuyasha I'm not a huge fan on his desions with Kikyo but he has nearly lost his life lots of times for his freinds and definatly for Kagome (you made me cry) look Inuyasha pisses me off too so in stories I write sometimes I put a little skit in the disclaimer so I can be mean to him there and I give him a little toture (it's Kikyo that really gets to me though her reasons for giving Naraku the shikon jewel were any thing but pure (if you want to know you can ask me [you might even be able to use it in a story or even this story]) I'm not exactly happy about either of them which is why I wrote this crack fic on FanFiction.net to be mean to them and make fun of Kikyo (the story just suddenly popped into my head all creepy like) but I digress youre being more brutal to Inuyasha than really needed its super mean and depressing and Kagome would feel a little bit of forgiveness towards him not too much but if it were me I would forgive him to the point that Iwould ask the others to be there for him a little bit because he nearly died for kagome and all there freinds I don't care too much of what you do to Kikyo I don't like her (but I'm able to stand her in the later on seasons) I dont think Inuyasha diserves all the toture youre giving kagome would forgive him in time kill off Kikyo for all I care but try not to be so mean to Inuyasha you have to remember His alter ego is 'super-dumbass' coming to show you how really stupid, Idiotic and bad at judgment he is

please just cut the guy a little slack. (I rambeled didn't I? *sigh*)

other than what was mentioned above I like the story so far and it's written pretty well keep up the good work

While I was snowed in at home today I re-read this story from start to finish (or, the last chapter posted). This is definitely my favorite Sess/Kag darkfic! I loved Kagome's wish to purify the jewel as well as her explanations to Sesshoumaru about why she didn't make any other wish. I never liked (or understood) why Kagome made the wish she did in the manga. I think your wish of 'whatever needs to happen to happen' is better than the manga's wish that simply told the Shikon to 'disappear forever'. Looking forward to your next update! :)

UPDATE OFTEN AND QUICKLY!

This is the umpteenth time I've read this chapter. After reading it again, I couldn't help but wonder if Kikyo would end up stabbing Inuyasha in the back. Besides, she DID say she would what she had to in order to survive since they've been effectively kikced themselves out of Edo and the WEstern Lands. Maybe she'd end up selling Inuyasha up a creek or sell him to some foreigners for money. Inuyasha said he had nothing left no matter where he went. I hope he gets tired of Kikyo very fast despite everything that's happened. I can't wait to see how Sesshy and Kagome change in future chapters. As for Inuyasha, I see him as a completely broken individual, maybe suicidal at times, though hopefully not. I have a feeling he has yet to lose his freedom, his home, his pride and dignity, maybe his sanity, who knows. Hmm, why do I see him as a guinea pig for those who have never seen anyone with youkai blood before to see if they're different from humans? As for Kikyo, I'm glad she's barren. No mini-Kikyo clones running around. Anyway, can't wait to see what happens next.  

i havent read a story this good in a very long time .  i really like the fact that you didnt make sesshomaru a big old softy like most do please update soon i hope to read more of this and other stories from you in the future.

Wonderful chapter. I hope that that Kagome friends will find a way to help get that damn collar off and a way to help Kagome plan to escape. I really hope that Sesshomaru will get whats coming to him. I hope that Inuyasha won't stay with Kikyou when he somehow finds out the truth and leaves her for good. Besides, he derves better but things won't  which I think he should leave the country, exploring as he figure things on his own.

For ME?!?!? You are so sweet, Tex! And this is such a good chapter, it is perfect to follow the previous confrontation. I now have this vision of Kikyo stirring up trouble, raising the humans up in fear and hatred against demonkind. All in an attempt to destroy them all. And, at last, you leave us with some hope for Kagome...but I doubt that you are going to allow her to escape so easily. And I didn't see anything needing correction, just one suggestion...LOL!

I think this is the first fic that I've read that I don't feel sorry for Inuyasha. At first, I thought that Kagome was being overly dramatic until I realized how much she has endured while in Sesshou's care. I wonder when Sesshou will realized what Midoriko foresees will happen between him and Kagome. At what point will he realize that it's too late to undo his bad treatment of Kagome? Does this also affect the reason why there are no demons in Kagome's time? Also, will Kaede really be able to help Kagome get that damn collar off? Keep up the good work and update soon :P
