I have to say that your story is nothing short of amazing!! I find it very refreshing in terms of plot because I read all of it today!  I would say keep it up, and I admire this writing.  I just wanted to point out though that in many of your chapters you keep reiterating Sesshoumaru's feelings of Kagome (like her softness) and sometimes repeating almost the same phrases over and over... which can make the story a little dull--BUT! I am very happy to have happened across your story, and I thank you for gifting us with it! :]

yup can't remember a singel charcter who comes in enough contact with Kagome that didn't change and even when there was very little contact many still changed anyway.  you captured Kaede well ^__^

So I'm wondering how many chappies of Kagome's suffering will you do before she can be free? How long will it take to convince Kenji and the other elite guards that Sesshou's beliefs are wrong? How many centuries will pass before Sesshou changes for the better? I look forward to what you have in store for Kagome and can't wait for Sesshou to pay for his actions. I really hope that Kaede's words will come to pass soon. Keep up the good work and update soon :P

This is a unusual fic. The first one I've come across in this manner, and I find it extremely enjoyable.  Kenji gotta love that one, he'll see the different brand of freedom and then won't be able to handle it!

I have to hand it to you. This is a great chapter. I'm glad that Kaede gave Sesshomaru to think about concerning Kagome. She DOES change people for the better. I'm sure Sesshomaru will not be an exception over time. Sango needs to keep her mouth shut if she wants to help Kagome with her situation. I see a lot of hope for Kenji in all this. As for Inuyasha and Kikyo, I would love to see what happens with them. Let the punishment begin. I have a feeling after what happened in the palace that Inuyasha doesn't want anything to do with his pathetic excuse for a mate, barren or not. I don't think he's going to care too much about that. I also have a feeling she's going to stab him in the back eventually, then he'll be left with nothing but his Tetsusaiga, the clothes on his back and the broken rosary beads. I'm sure every village will know about their betrayal and the pain they inflicted on Kagome. But, for some reason, I don't think Kikyo gives a crap if she hurt Kagome in the past, using self-preservation as an excuse. If given the chance, she'll do the same thing to Inuyasha before she truly goes after her and Sesshomaru. She did make a silent vow that she would wreak vengeance on them. And another thing, congrats on this fic for winning several categories! *cheers and claps* Can't wait to see what happens with the doomed 'couple'.
