Would I be right in assuming Sesshoumaru took off the bracelet when he broken that guy's arms?

I actually laughed out loud when Kagome said she think she'd "remember something like that" in response to Eri's question.

I want to know what happened that made Kagome pull the trick with the alarm clocks. I'd love to get that story in a flashback.

This story makes me want to start drawing again, but it's been so long that I'd probably embarass myself. I can totally picture Fashion Magazine Sesshoumaru in his human disguise.

Speaking of... I found it funny back in the beginning when Eri thought Kagome's costume wasn't sexy, but now it's hysterical and ironic with Eri drooling all over him, and not knowing he's the inspiration for the costume. Was that intentional or did it just work out that way? Either way it's brilliant!

I have to say this has to be one of the best characterizations of Kagome I've ever read. There's a tendency among most authors to make their own reactions Kagome's to the point where it becomes borderline Mary Sue-ish if not completely crossing over, especially in this pairing. However, you really seem to get her. I think part of it is that her personality doesn't come across the same in the anime as it does in the manga and I don't know that many of the newer fans to IY have read it (at least read something other that VIZ, which makes me wish I could find Chris Rijk's work somewhere again). Kagome is very self-aware and recognizes her reactions for what they are. When she's upset or hurt she can step away and say, "It's normal to feel that way," let herself feel it, and then let it go. I think you've really captured this part of Kagome's personality in this chapter. In a way, I think Kagome is much harder to get right than Sesshoumaru. Great work!

You're making me want to read those poems too. They remind me a bit of Pablo Neruda, so maybe i shouldn't read them, since he makes me cry.

I can't imagine how much work it must have been to find verses that fit this story so well. It's very impressive.

The end of this chapter is very sweet, if sad. I can totally see where you're coming from with her being overwhelmed. 

So what happened to the rosary? Is he still wearing it? I can see Kagome enjoying one more sit for old times' sake.

Hm... I thought she fell asleep on the couch? Anyway, if it's a pack think to live together, then it seems a bit odd that he didn't try to move her into his building until after he saw her apartment. Would he have left her alone if she lived in a penthouse? The way you describe it, Kagome's apartment sounds huge by Japanese standards. Most apartments in Japan are studios that are little more than 100 square feet.

I can never quite figure out how Inuyasha loses her in these types of setups, wouldn't he just need to hang out by the well until she's born? Although, he never was the brightest crayon in the box. I was never quite sure if her Sengoku friends ever really understand that she's from a different time and not a different place. It's been a long time since I read the manga, but I believe the word they use is sekai meaning "world."

This is such a cute idea. I wonder if he would still have worked out who she was if she hadn't been dressed like him? I find it really funny that Eri doesn't find her costume sexy.

Everybody needs to step back and smell the roses every once in a while. I can't wait to see hat happens next :)

Awe very sweet chapter 

I'm glad the Sesshoumaru is helping her keep her priorities straight.  I think it would be nice to have a chapter where she does something for him.  It seems like he is always helping her or guiding her, but I think it would be nice if she did something thoughtful for him too.  Sometimes it feels like he's doing all the work, which seems a little unbalanced.  I know she brings something to his life just by being there, but it would be nice if she did something to more actively show that she appreciates him.  Just an idea :)  Please don't take it as a criticism, because I love your writing and I love this story.  I'm happy everytime a new chapter comes up.  Keep up the good work!

I really like how gradually their relationship is blooming, seems more natural that way.

One thing that is starting to bother me though, is how Sesshomaru is always the one taking care of, looking out for, and doing things for Kagome.  I know that he's the Alpha and all that, but the last time I can recall that Kagome did for him is to 'let' him hold her when he was worried about her after that car accident.  It would be great if she got out of being so wrapped up in herself, and actually went out of her way do to something for her caretaker (instead of just 'allowing' some things to happen).  

If Kagome was the one to take the initiative to jumpstart their relationship to the next level, even better. :)

~~You know I have to say, Hatter, that I think this is my favorite fic so far. ^____^ I love the content, the pace of their relationships, how they stay in character despite everything...*sigh* I really do love it. I'm giddy everytime I see an update! :D Keep it up!
