It's like... you can kinda guess what's going on with Sesshoumaru, given the situation with Rin and that Kagome keeps saying she wants to be normal. But you never really now for sure what's going on in his head. And I love that about this story, and at the same time it makes me crazy. How has Kagome not slapped him yet?

Wow, it would be nice to have been a fly on the wall when Sesshoumaru and Araki were hanging those cabinets. Wonder what they talked about to put him in that mood?

Ouch. Why DID he go silent? He was the one that brought up Araki and a "normal" life.

The presentation! I use multiple alarm clocks for these sort of things and put at least one in the next room so I have to get up. Which is really sort of funny that she overslept since we know she's played that trick on Sesshoumaru. I was hoping for a couple snippets of that presentation. I was interested in hearing how she presented those poems without revealing she knew the author.

Grrr, no matter how many times I've read this, I can't figure out what that look and forced smile are supposed to be. Maybe its one of those things that are so onvious they go over your head things. Either way, I feel stupid because I can't figure it out. T~T

I read it's normal to fail the drivers' test in Japan numerous times before getting your license. It doesn't sound like Kagome will be trying again for a while. Sesshoumaru was very sweet in this one, taking care of her. Probably shouldn't have pushed her to get it so fast in the first place, though.

For some reason, my brain would not comprehend what anniversary it was. Even though you spelled it out for us. I kept thinking it was the day she fell down the well, so now I feel dumb. I think I'm still harping on her birthday. 

So is Sesshoumaru distancing himself because he thinks she likes Araki? Or because he thinks she's going to eventually like someone in general (that's not him)? Again, I'm having trouble with Kagome's denial, it might work if she was still dealing with the Inuyasha stuff, but it doesn't seem like she is. She can be avoidant when she's angry (but she's not angry here), and once she calms down she does tend to acknowledge what she's feeling even if she doesn't like it.

Whoa, that's suspicious. She definitely IS missing something, but from Sesshoumaru's reaction it sounds like more than the obvious. I really like how you do this, how you can hint at things and keep the reader guessing, and it makes me jealous because I'm no good at that at all. I'm not explaining things well, it's like you (as the reader) can pick-up on the subtext. There's not so much that you know exactly what's going on, but still enough to understand the feeling. Did that make any sense?

Why does everyone always think it's the dryer? How come no one ever blames the washer? Maybe the dryer was framed. Anyway, that so awesome that there's a lost sock day. How did you ever find it? 

It totally makes sense that he hates red, and at the same time it makes no sense at all. I'm not sure why that is, but I love it.

Wonder what Kagome is going to do while Sessh is away, take up kitting, finaly go to that gym, paint her room, move the living room around, maybe get a puppy, or go sneaking around in Sessh's room. So many things that could happen.

Love this chapter, got a little sad but it was a sweet kind of sad. HIGH FIVE!!

I don't review often but I just wanted to share with you that I truly, enjoy and love this story.  The added poetry is a pleasant bonus.  Keep up the wonderful work; looking forward to your next chapter.

Ha! She burned down the kitchen! I think Darwin would reserve his amazement until she manages to reproduce. Guess no one told her not to try the food flipping trick until after practicing with beans or rice in a cold pan.

Eri was pretty impressive there, even if she had no idea who she was yelling at. I think your Kagome is drifting a little. I'm not sure I'm buying the denial. I can see her refraining from acting on her feelings, but it's unlike her not to recognize them for what they are.
