OOOh! Right in the feels!

I really want to hate you right now...or bash Kagome's head in repeatedly...but I know that love and sorting emotions can never be that easy *le sigh*  I'll await the next installment in this torturous roller-coaster of love with bated breath and weepy eyes T_T

First let me apologize for this being my first review/comment. I have told you before how much I love your work, and this story is no exception. I don't hate you. Or, at least, I'm trying not to. ;) I've read enough of your work to have faith that this story is going to have an ending that I will love. And I would love a happy ending. You have built a beautiful relationship between Sesshomaru & Kagome and it cannot be ignored or tossed away. The kiss was spectacular and all that I'm sure all of us were waiting for, even if we didn't like the aftermath. So, I will allow you to continue toying with my emtions. For now...  ;)

WHATTTTT? Come on!!! I just think Kagome have not an idea if what is to be alone: she should experience that! So she reconsiders what she lost. She is afraid and a coward. I hate her at this time.

HT, I want you to know that I look forward to your posts. I get excited when I get the update email. As someone going through a divorce & some crazy life changes right now I appreciate the world of fiction you've constructed. It allows me a chance to leave it all behind & fantasize about something else for a change. 

Plus, even if it's about darn time, I like how it took time to get to this point :)

I face palmed so hard I left a red mark.  It was going so well too! :sigh:  But I guess the slive lining in this is that I get more wangst, which is always nice. Great chapter, great kiss, and I can't wait for more!

Yep, i really don't like you right now. All that good tension accumulated and culminated in a mighty fine kiss only for things to end up like this, oh hell nah. I'm just going to hope nobody ends up alone, cause that set them back to the first time he tried to kill her.

i would scream that they need to just do it already but at the same time i realize you as the author have to make us crazy so, it'll take a while, but i can only wonder how much more sexual tention a loving couple that has no idea they are a couple can take before it just explodes in their faces .... in a good way x=

Gah!!!  Damn it Kagome!  Stop thinking so much, you bonehead!  Seriously.  That was intense and totally worth the wait.  Very very good descriptions, expecially with the way you described the breathing.  That might sound like a weird thing for me to praise, but I think it made the experience that much more tangible.  Helps you feel the moment.  Sesshoumaru is amazing.  I want to smack Kagome upside the head, though <_<  Don't run, enjoy!  Beautiful man kissing you passionately.  Turn your brian off and go with it! lol *sigh*  It couldn't have been that easy, though.  I hope she has a heart and thinks about what she's doing to him and not just her own fears.  Excellent job.  See how invested we are in the characters? hehe  ^_^d  Keep up the good work!!   

Why did she react like that?  Maybe what she went through with Inuyasha in the past made her hesitant about opening up her heart for someone else.  If it is,  you'd think she'd be over that by now.  Especially considering everything the way it was now with the pack thing.  She just as good as told him she wanted nothing physical between them and ruined what was supposed to be his first birthday celebration.  Her rejection not only confused him but hurt and probably embarassed him because he opened up a closed off portion of himself to her.  I bet it's shut down now tighter than before and he'll probably leave much sooner than planned for the job site without asking if she had decided to go with him.   He'll probably not even keep in contact with her while he's gone.  I wouldn't.  I hope she's tortured by her conscious and feelings while he's gone.  Vindictive, aren't I?  I feel she needs to suffer his rejection for awhile.  It's not like she hasn't thought about him as more than a friend at times, she just pushed the thoughts away before they had a chance to take hold.  Common sense should have told her that where there's sexual tension, that eventually it will take over.  You can't keep ignoring it.  I guess I'll stop ranting now.  She just made me so mad. 

Great chapter. I have been waiting for them to kiss for ages! I hope they can work out their issues. I know Kagome is a little insecure about beginning another relationship and is probably fretting over how a kiss between Sesshomaru and her could possibly ruin their friendship. I hope Sesshomaru realizes this in time to reassure her of her fears. He must let her know how much he likes her. Gah!

..Patiently waiting for the next holiday..

You've done a fabulous job and I'm all flustered now. xD Instensity is amazing and I love how you worked into it, starting with that silly abandon and built the suspense. I wasn't expecting a kiss (hoping for it, you bet!) but I could just FEEL the tension skyrocketing. Keep it coming, I'm swooning over here!!! :D
