Gosh I know it is gradually getting lighter, but arrgghh!!!! He's an absolute i!!!! I don't know whats going to make him change except for several decades of extreme humilation. I'm still trying my hardest to see love come out of this story, its immensely hard. When i see the chapter that has every measure of self worth stripped from him, then I'll whip out a bottle of some good ol wine in celebration and sing Bravo, Bravo the ego has thus been crushed. lol Cause I can barely read a fourth of the chapters now. I can't wait to see what happens in future chapters. You are an excellent story weaver

It seems that sesshoumaru is starting to soften towards kagome a little more..........he's far from supportive or the like.......but he is trying to see to her comfort in his own deranged way. He still holds strong ideals that have been ingrained into him for a long time......but it seems as if he maybe starting to feel the first inklings of love, as stated in the chapter: " Sesshoumaru found himself unsettled with the conversation.  Initially, he had not cared if she was hurt by his claiming of her, and often his intent was to do just that.  Things had changed obviously.  He found that more and more he wanted Kagome to want him.  He wanted his mate to welcome him into their bed with open arms.  He was not entirely sure why her acceptance of her place in his bed was coming to mean so much to him, but it was.  Not so much that he would give her the choice of being there, but he would like for her to enjoy their matings as much as he did. He was not inclined to disclose to her how much her acceptance was coming to matter to him however." So although he's not willing to tell her how he feels, there definitely, something there.

I'm also glad that kagome has shippo with her now, it will bring her some joy before her son arrives.....The interaction between kagome and sesshoumaru seems to be getting better, but I can't help but feel it's the calm before the storm. Especially since, sesshoumaru has made it clear that kagome can't make any real life changing decisions on her own. Knowing this kagome's life will be hard pressed throughout the years.

I can see that kagome is abiding her time and waiting for a clear opportunity to escape. I think she's being true to women in the same situation as her, I myself feel that I would do the same.
