As always I love your stories!! This one is so unique and well told and I really like seeing the slow development of Kagome and Sesshoumaru's relationship.  I wonder when Kagome will realize that Sesshoumaru has feelings other than friendship for her and that he is possibly jealous of other males noticing her.  And when is Sesshoumaru going to let her know more about Youkai mating habits and pack dynamics that could possibly prevent misunderstandings!!  LOL I love watching these two muddle through love!!!

 I Just love this story, Its great!!!

I love this story!!!  Ugh the suspense is killing me.  When are they going to get a clue already??? lol  I'm just kidding.  I love it.  With all this build up, the moment where they finally get together better be pretty freakin' spectacular. lol  I have complete and utter faith in you ;)  You are a master at building tension and capturing all the nuances of their relationship.  You really paid attention to details of their personalities - their flaws, strengths, senses of humor, etc - which makes their interactions so interesting.  It frustrating and exciting to see them get so close to realization, but then back away, each because of their own individual issues (with Kagome, the love she had for Inuyasha that never came to fruition and with Sesshoumaru his unrequited love for Rin).  Now we have some competition too with Araki (even though, it's not really competition, but Sesshoumaru certainly seems to view it that way, hehe) which adds some interesting dynamics to their relationship.  When two people who have a good friendship, but are meant to be more, it sometimes takes that push, or change of circumstance for them to realize what they've been afraid to admit.  I like that you toed the line of that in these last few chapters.  It was fun ^_^  I really do hope it comes soon, though.  Not because I want the story to end, but because you've written the progression of their relationship so naturally, because it feels so real, it also has that natural momentum that says if they don't act soon, they are going to miss their moment.  It's starting to border on "I loved you, but I never told you." territory.  Which would make me cry hehe.  Anyway, I greatly enjoy your writing.  Keep up the good work!

Well they seem to have gotten over their tension between one another. Or at least have learned to deal with it better. I can't wait to see what happens father's day. I can see Sesshoumaru getting things, but also getting upset and having things come tolightI with Araki somehow getting Kagome to join in on his festivities:)

Yay! I love that hey finaly got past this little issue. At first I had thought he was angry that she was spending so muh time with another man's kid, but now with the whe fate thing, was he detaching himself from her because he thought fate wouldn't allow a miko and demon to love each other? If so, I feel sorry that Seashoumaru felt like he was going to lose her, though having her fall in love with a pendant of his marking must have him soaring high on the inside. You're doin great with their ups and downs, just like an actual relationship. Well done!

I just love these scenes between Sesshomaru and Kagome.  And I look forward to seeing if anything comes from this nice little trip they have planned ;)  Thanks for all the updates! It made my morning. :)

Adorable! I think I am starting to smell some less than subtle romance cooking ^.^

YAY! A vacation, I think, is just what they all need. Space, sun, more of the pack, and just the chance to wind down. And then I got to the fair...

I have been thinking about this. For all intents and purposes, Kagome is the Alpha female of the pack, who has been gifted with a necklace baring the symbol of the Alpha's mark and colors. It almost seems like a courting gift, and even if it's not, there is no way that no one is not going to notice it because she probably won't take it off. And if that happens, it will be another whirlwind of angst! YESH!

Can't wait to see what happens next!

There was so much confusion, sadness, and fear in this chapter and you conveyed it all in so little words, and made it all better doing the same. You have a way of using eachword to the fullest, which makes this and everything you write a joy to read.

Silly egnimatic youkais. He stumped me on this one, so I am feeling a little bad for Kagome in this one. I kinda just want to grab them both and be like TALK!

Araki is starting to grow on me, with all the light hearted-ness he brings. I think that she needs that to break up all the confusion that is going on at home. And little Houka steals my heart, she kinda reminds me of Rin.

And it started off so well with the teasing and the humor and then spiraled down into angstland.

It never ceases to amuse me that neither one of them is all that great at communicating. Especially Kagome, little chatter box that she is. But at times, I feel like she just isn't listening, or maybe she just isn't ready to hear it.

I couldn't imagine even getting in a car after that ordeal. But I really do enjoy the subtle reinforcement of how much they have come to depend and lean on one another for support and/or validation.

Makes me all warm and fluffy inside.
