I hope Kagome can get out of her head and get into the moment. If she thinks he doesn't mean it, she should persuade him to mean it. He clearly means it already! Sure, they're different species, but that's no reason to dismiss Sesshomaru's behavior as pure reflex to touching his markings. 

 If anyone knows what he's doing and to whom he's doing it (ex: not Kikyo), it is Sesshomaru. AND how is she ignoring the intimate handholding thing? That was practically PDA meant only for her. Argh!
