Okay, I'm starting to get really confused.  Who the heck is Sesshomaru's mother talking about?? Chou or Kagome??  The last 2 or 3 chapters have been so cryptic.  What am I missing here?? 

I'm not 100% sure I understand what she is telling him to do, but if she is suggesting that Sesshoumaru have the same arrangement she had with her mate and lover, I don't think Kagome will go along with it.  Actually, I don't think Sesshoumaru will do it either.    They both seem pretty all or nothing.

I really hope Sesshoumaru takes a different road the 'settling' like his parents did.  I also can't imagine Kagome would allow herself to be a concubine, even if she loves him. If she would allow that, then she would have considered it with Inuyasha.  Sesshoumaru's teacher allowed things to happen that way because he knew it was expected.  He grew up and looked at love and committment in a completely different way then Kagome would see it.  I can't wait to see if Fluffy takes this suggestion to Kagome.

...seems that after all she's been through, Sesshoumarus mother still values duty more than feelings.....even though she would allow Kagome some place in Sesshoumarus life....sadly she does not seem realize that Kagome won't ever be second to anyone again....she already told Sesshoumaru so, that she isn't willing to share again, ...now it's Sesshoumarus time to choose...it's either Chou or Kagome...he cannot have both

And treat Kagome as a second hand person? Good enough to be a dirty secret, but not enough to be her partner and mother of his children? Poor Yuji must really have loved Mama to subject himself to that charade...

I know Sess would never do something as dishonorable, and Kagome would never accept that type of arrangement...

Oh my god...Kagome would NEVER. And I feel like Sesshoumaru would feel dishonorable, even if all parties agreed.

does this mean he's not going to tryst with kagome? i hope he figures out that she isn't so fragile as everyone thinks. she's a strong being. i can't wait to find out sesshomaru does. will he pick kagome or chou? please continue, i'll be waiting for the next chapters. it's a great story!

Hmm...wonder if that was the best reason to give. I can see her turning that around on Sesshoumaru once again (and him not getting his answer). I wonder how she will answer. I can't wait to see what happens next and if Sesshoumaru's mother also gets her happy ending (finally) :)
