So far I don't like this Shippo but i'm trying to relate to the bonds he has made in his life, I dont think he should be in Kagomes life outside of a passing aquaintance as he has seemed to move on from her. Your story is wonderful and I am truly enjoying it. I like Sesshoumaru and Kagomes struggles, but I do hope she starts to wake up soon....

It's actually morganatic. And there have been times when the offspring of a morganatic marriage receivd all titles and lands that came with it after the death of the royal or noble.

I am both ecstatic and grateful that you have become active again with this story. Although far too shy to attempt writing a fan fic, I love reading them, and have you on my favorite authors list. As with all your stories, this is well told, and rich with imagery. You have brought me to tears more than once, and have made me spit my soda on an occassion. (I've learned to stop reading while drinking). Your masterful weaving of the tale itself, and the inter-relations of all the characters is wonderful to see. You make me live the story while you write it, and I have reread this story many times in the hopes you would return and finish it! I'm really confused. These chapters don't seem to connect to each other at all, the scenes are disjointed, and you're hinting to a multitude of issues, but you've yet to have the characters have a real conversation. Kagome is afraid, but you didn't make clear of what she's fearful of. Sesshomaru is kind of mysterious, but just comes off as tired. And Inuyasha is alive somehow, but six chapters ago you said he was dead - in both actions, and in your author's note... 

That was a wonderful update. This story is very intricate and I like the way you have written your characters. I’m looking forward to your next update. Thanks so much.
