I have been pondering this for a few days. I don't know why, I guess I think of weird things. The thought probably came from wanting to write a drabble on this topic or include it somehow in a fic, but...

Assuming Sesshoumaru lived through the years and was still alive today, which modern day invention do you think would be most astonishing to him?

I don't think it would be any type of transportation because he seems like he can get around pretty easily in the Feudal Era. And telecommunications have been around for a while, so I don't think that would be so outstanding.

What would make him think "after all these years _______ still amazes me."

Hmmm . . . I would say Duct Tape.

I mean, it's something that seems so simple in its makeup, but there are so many uses for it. Personally, I found it very impressive when the Mythbusters used it to lift a car and built a boat out of it.

Maybe you could make a challenge out of it? Like, Kagome gets bored and decides to make something out of duct tape. Maybe... a tree swing, or Sesshoumaru's armour, or something.
