The fic I'm looking for is on FF.net (I'm pretty sure). Set in the Feudal Era the battle has been won, Naraku is dead (I think) and the jewel completed. Kikyo is still 'alive' (relatively speaking) and someone, I think Inuyasha makes the wish for Kikyo to be alive (flesh and all) again.

However, the way the jewel brings her to back to life is by forcefully taking the remaining soul from Kagome, who fights for her life is is in agony through it all. In the process of losing her soul, her strength comes forward and she develops a whole new soul apart from the shared one with Kikyo.

Sesshomaru sees that strength and is impressed, which is part of the building block of him developing feelings for Kagome.

Anyone?

Im look for the same one, so it would be great if you could find it. I do remember that Kagome was suppose to die and everyone thought that she was possessed. And I remember she turned her back on Inuyasha afterwards.

Sounds exactly like the start of "Conversations with a Taiyoukai" (which is MA, btw), but I know there are a couple others that start like that. Good luck!!

You do know that it's on the DLL Yahoo!Group, right? You're over there, aren't you? Anyway, if you are, be sure that you go back to the "Files" option after each chapter, cuz it doesn't like to load the next one from the folder, for some strange reason.
