Four years after returning back from the feudal era Kagome is visited by Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru fleeing from a young and vengeful miko after the well was reopened with the discovery of a Miko Scroll. It tells of the last battle between men and youkai and three weapons that would tip the favor of the group that obtain them. Kagome joins the two back through the well to solve the mystery, find herself, and defend the youkai from annihilation.
