Note: The deadline for this challenge has been extended to February 28th by request.
I've noticed over the years that writing seems to dwindle in December. I fully understand why, because I have three kids, which cause a ridiculous amount of work preparing for the holidays. Still, I thought a little encouragement might keep those of us with the time going. I've been working on my Christmas fic since 2008 and it's still not done!
I'll be posting one prompt a day (and doing so will help me make sure I get on the computer and at least try to write daily!), each with a holiday theme. I'm not religious, and I know others might not be either, so I stayed away from the overly religious prompts.
The rules:
Minimum 250 words per prompt
You can do the prompts in whatever order you like, whenever you like. Just post the link here and pick up your pretty.
You can use the prompts in any story, new or existing, or as stand alone. However you want, so long as it meets the word minimum.
Make sure to mark any adult entries MA!
You'll have until
February 28th to finish all the prompts and collect the completion banner, so everyone can participate, even if they're too busy during December.
