I've been trying to find a fic I read a few years ago recently, and have had a lot of trouble pin pointing it.

I remember Kagome leaves with Shippo to travel and train alone, and along the way she comes across Sesshoumaru while he's in heat and she ends up pregnant. She also ends up living with an old demon blacksmith she ends up calling her grandfather, getting trained in a monk monastery protecting a baby god, and kidnapped and forcibly wed to a noble that eventually dies and leaves her in charge.

Sesshomaru comes in later on and learns that their baby died, but I can't remember much else. Kagome might have been gaining the ability to use yokai powers as well? The writing was pretty solid from what I remember at least.

If anyone has any idea what story this is, help would be lovely in locating it!
