Im looking for a Sess/Kag fic. Its a modern highschool fic where due to (I think) bullying, and always being compared to her elder sister Kikyo, Kagome moves in with Sango and her family for a while, and gets a makeover.
I'm not sure exactly how long she stays with them, but I think its a year. Anyways, she moves back home, and Sango comes with her. They go to school together, and Kagome starts getting attention.
I THINK she and Inuyasha start dating, but then she finds him with Kikyo. (I might be mistaken, this might be a completely different fic). Either that, or Kagome asks inuyasha to the dance and he says no, instead he goes with Kikyo instead, and somehow she ends up with Sesshomaru.
I remember that in the beginning, it talks about how Kagome basically looked really dorky, and while she was staying with Sango, she changed. Then, when they get to Kagome's house, at some point, it talks about how Kagome was Souta's favorite sister.
Another thing I remember, is that I read it on FF.NET and that it was completed. I think it's older, maybe a few years. Sorry I dont have more info to go on... Any help is appreciated!
