So... I found a new Anime to watch and Manga to read. And I'm totally in love! Shoujo Shoujo!

It is called Shugo Chara. The protagonist is a girl of about 12 years old. This story is based around "heart eggs" which then hatch into the would be character selves of promising young individuals. Then there's this evil company called Easter ( ) that tries to find the Embryo - the king of all eggs.

There's lots of romance. At least two love interests (out of maybe five), and plenty of laughs to go around.

I really enjoy this series because it also incorporates many popular fairy tales into bits and pieces of the story. But I also suppose that it's just about everything in this series that I enjoy.

The Amuto pairing is my fave even though if you look at the technical side of that.... wouldn't that make him a pedophile?? Whatever they are still cute together. I just put out my mind that he's seventeen and she's like twelve... *sighs* But I don't want her with Tadase... he's just.... all wrong for her. I'd rather her be with Nagihiko or Kairi or someone. Lol

I watched this too, but I found that it dragged on for too long, and after a while the 'cuteness' started to get to me -.-

I use to love this manga and anime. More manga, then the anime but that's just a personal preference for me. Honestly, I loved it so much that I started a crossover story with it, the pairing was Ikuto/Kagome. But, after awhile I soon lost interest in Shugo Chara! and it's characters(I couldn't finish my story because I began to hate writing out the characters from 'Shugo Chara!'). The reason why was because I found the story to be repetitive, and that there was no progress with the characters and their relationships.

The ending was a total let down too, but again this is just my opinion on it. I'm glad you like it though I hope you continue to like it through the rest of the series and don't find the same disappointment that I did!

I agree that it was very repetitive, but the thing is...I never GOT to the ending haha.

Personally I'm more of a Full Moon Wo Sagashite girl.

Yeah I Really liked the show for a bit, but then I found it needed to skip ahead after awhile. I kept hoping there was more to it at the end but didn't entirely hate it.

I read the manga, it was absolutely delightful ^^
The fact that it was 12 year olds was a bit of a downside for me since I prefer character more to own age, especially if it's a fluffy romance.
