You could make it some sort of elite or progressive school that has some weird theory about staying in a school environment leading to better learning or something and that's why it has dorms. Because it is the slightest bit odd that the shrine is in walking distance but she's stays at the dorm. Other than that I think you're off to a good start And look forward to the next chapter.
I find it hilarious that Sesshoumaru is still a virgin, moreso that he balks at the groupies whispers of deflowering him instead of putting them in their place, I laughed when I read that. I can see many interesting moments ahead for our favorite couple. Your off to a great start, Im looking foreward to seeing where you go with this :)
I agree that it is easier to write about what you know. You are off to a really good start. I'd like to see where you go with this.
This has the potential for some great moments if it goes in the direction I think it is.

Very interesting start :). I hope you continue to post the updated chapters :). And though I don't know about co-ed dorms, a lot of private schools actually use dorms; or at least the more expensive ones. A lot of times their students come from all over so they wouldn't be able to comute back home each day so they would need a place to stay.
