Wow, that was amazing great! I loved it, though it was sooo very very sad. I mean come on poor Kagome! Why do men have to be such asses?! I swear it's like in their genes or something. I meant to review last night but fell asleep instead. This is great! I really like how all of the different issues are woven into the story, like Inu no Taisho's grief from losing his wife made him despise all those who are happy with their loved ones and he sought to destroy it. How he manipulates Sesshoumaru through attacking his pride, desire to be a strong lord, and (I don't know I may be reading a little too much into it but I think it may be the cause for his major change) his need for his father's approval. So did Sesshomaru start to see his father in a different light prior to Kagome's leaving or afterwards? I know its not important I just wondered. But I also, think it shows how he transitions into his own, not caring about what others thinks and doing what makes him happy. Your story addresses some points we all deal with and come to learn from. For example, Kagome's changing to fit who Sesshoumaru wants her to be because she loves him and wants to make it work. But realizes that if he loves her, then he love HER and not what he wants to make her, like some mannequin. Then the emotional turmoil of pregnancy followed by a miscarriage. I can go on and on...but I don't want to take up too much more space. Now real quick, if I were Sesshoumaru and just found out all of that, I would make a beeline straight to my father's place and rip him a new one. I know its not completely his father's fault...but a girl can hope. Anyway, great fic!

The intensity...what did you do..put Irish cream and tequila shots in this? I can't think straight, I'm overflowing with feelings, but the words won't come. I'm still blinking and staring but I won't shake my head to clear it because I don't want to lose this sensation, of words crashing around me, just yet. I think I'll lose myself a little longer, and come back when I'm a little more organised. Black and red....I feel black and red.

Every time you update a chapter, I go back and re read your story and it makes me cry every single time. Your writing is beautiful. You put such great effort in your writing and it shows in every word. You convey such emotion into your words those who read it can almost feel what you put your characters through. I love your work. I'll wear my Akumi is awesome shirt proudly.

'heart-wrenching howls of a father losing his first born' ? i do hope you don't mean he took his own life... ((i know it would be obvious to say he grieved the pup, which he should! but it was never really 'born' as sad as it is...)) I am so happy you updated, and I'm so sad about this story... But Kagome mentioned she stayed at Sango's, so he can find her again once he gets his thoughts together... that is if she goes back to Sango, she may be too hysterical and not want Sango to see..... please, please-please, for the love that is all good and well, update again soon
