Great detail, and I'm curious what Kagome discovers what happend after she left through Sesshoumaru.  Seems like the Inu brothers never got past their dislike of each other.  Such a shame too.

Okay, I just started reading this.  I just wanted to comment on Chapter 1 - what a truly horrific event for anyone to have to witness; the total devastation of your loved ones and....GODS, that was brutal.

I look forward to reading the rest - the next 4 chapters.  I'll comment at the end.

Is this all going to be tragic?  Will this end happily?  I guess I have to read and wait and see.

The part about this that I'm finding the most interesting is how Kagome is having to act like she doesn't know anything about Sess while still helping him walk through his memories.  It is nicely done.

I am interested in learning about Sess's history as may be found in the research Kagome is going to do.  I look forward to reading more of this work.  Thanks for sharing it with us.

Poor Sesshomaru, but at least Kagome is starting to get through to him now.  I like how you don't reveal too much info in one chapter, it keeps the suspense going nicely. 

Very dark start (I feared I wouldn't be able to read this story), but I really like it!!  (lately I haven't been able to stomach dark fics...about the time Madison posted 'Blood Stained' --I'm far behind on that fic and I don't think I'll ever finish reading it)

I love the whole psychological aspect of the whole story, I can't wait for the next update!

What an interesting fanfic! I hope that you update soon. I totally inhaled those chapters like any sess/kag-fanfic-starved reader.

GAH! Now so much more mystery, and intrigue! I mean I thought the murder of his family was bad, but now more and more I'm thinking it had something to do with Kagome, especially with the little hints you're leaving. Obviously it wouldn't be her fault, but nonetheless!

And Sesshomaru make so much NO sense, and PLENTY of sense at the same time when he speaks. I agree though, I think listening is the first thing he needs. Since he wasn't talking to anyone for so long, it probably built up inside of him, and even though it's insane sometimes, I think his little talks with Kagome help.

Its strange, sometimes he does seem to know her, while other times he doesn't.

Maybe he has a few lucide moment in his insanity!

I still don't trust that doctor though, evil him! And I think he wants to be with Kagome when she goes to see Sesshomaru because he's dying to be in the in depth of the conversation! YOU EVIL YOU! *chases him away*
