I'm really not sure what to say, this is one of the best stories i have ever read and my mind is just spinning from reading 32 chapters straight. Thank you so much for writing this. Thats all i can really say.

Um, wasn't the whole reason Sess couldn't evoke Kagome because the Kami had to agree with it? But a few chapters when he was gathering the items again. So why are they worried now? You should explain a bit more or go back and edit it so that Kagome talked him out of it instead of it being impossible unless Kami will it.

And I don't remember anyone telling me this would be a very sad fic; I thought it would be somber and a bit sad, not completely depressing like I think you are going to make it.

This was actually something of a more cheerful chapter.  At least Kagome is fighting back, which is nice to see even if it will do no good.  I don't know if this is your intention or not but to echo a previous reviewer of this chapter, it seems like Sesshoumaru still has feelings for her, otherwise he wouldn't be as upset over what has happened.  The part that seems to be upsetting him the most is that he has lost his chance to invoke her, and that he can no longer see her, not that someone else could now do so how that would be damaging to him or that he has lost the sword left to him by his father which is also an extremely valuable asset.  I could be totally wrong but in opinion he hasn't lost his love for her more like his feelings have been anesthetized.  They are still there but he can't feel them.  It gives me hope (possibly false) that in spite of who he mates and loves in the future it won't match or take away his love for her. I think a piece of him will always belong to her and that without her he isn't whole.  

Okay, now leaving my fantasy world.  (lol)

I want you to know that even if I don't like what is happening in the story doesn't mean I think the story is bad or that you are a bad writer or even that you should change anything. This is one of the best written, most moving stories I've read and truly showcases your talent.  The fact that your story elicits such strong feelings on the part of your readers is proof of what a great piece this is.  Be patient with us too.  This is some heartrending stuff.  In general I stay away from tragedy, it's not my favorite genre.  However, I will occasionally, as I have with your story read it.  Unless it is a thoroughly engrossing tale, I usually won't go past the first few chapters.  But I'm here for the long haul with this story because it is that good.  

Continue to follow your muse (Squishy) as it hasn't lead you astray yet.  

you know i believe that Sesshomaru still knows he loves her he just can't realize it. like the kami's are stopping him from doing so.

I love this story.  However I am getting alittle tired of the constant...low-key sadness.  Not even Kagome with her brighter outlook on life would be able to keep going and going when everything is always sad.  And just accepting that things will be better?  She doesn't seem like the kind of girl to just accept it.  Especially since it seems as though these Kami people just keep screwing her over and over.  They don't tell her anything and then just expect her to say "Ok, that's alright, just when you can let me know if I can smile sometime again."

How is this not sad? Sess is trying valiantly to remember how much he loves her and he can't no matter what and now the Lord of the South has the necessary items needed to evoke Death, including Tensaiga...this is bad news compiled on top of bad news.

I didn't notice any mistakes with grammar or spelling or anything that is inconsistent with what you have already written.  To me it feels like a transitional chapter.  Not a lot of action but some important things happened like we find out that the human threat to demons is beginning to form.  Also the by Orochi stealing the bundle and I think Tensaiga, Sesshoumaru's ties to Kagome are now severed.  It's funny because even though this wasn't a particularly sad chapter my heart was aching anyway.  I know she isn't going to like what happens next.  Heck I'm not going to like it.  Actually I anticipate she will more than not like it but she will be heart broken.  This statement by the Kami really have me wondering about things. 

“Of course I’m sure, all we need tell her is that she will receive her just rewards when all is said and done.”

From the above statement I'm wondering do they ever intend to reward her for all the she has, is and will continue to suffer?  To me it sounded almost like a carrot dangled in front of a donkey.  They never actually get the carrot but just keep moving forward because they believe that they will.  Is this what will happen to Kagome?  Is she ever going to be compensated for all she has suffered. I guess so because you did say that this is a Sess/Kag story and they would be together at some point in some way.

I know life isn't fair but all this seems so extreme.  Why has such a burden been put on her? And if Sesshoumaru can lose his feelings for her wouldn't it be kinder to allow her to lose her's for him?  I don't see how they serve anything but to cause her pain.

Well in spite of all this it's a fantastic story.  I just hate feeling depressed.  I need to go to my happy place for awhile.  lol
