Another update!!! What a wonderful day!!! I think Kagome in her infinite kindness is beginning to come around. She looks like she's going to begin her journey forgiveness and hopefully love since this Sesshomaru compared to most other rape fics is undoubtedly mired in guilt. I'm sure he'll spend the rest of his days seeking atonement. These small snippets of their growing affection/acceptance make my day!!

They have a lot to do in nine months. This has turned into one of my favorite stories.
Nine months, hmmm. Sooo...will Kagome be able to combine her miko powers with Sesshomaru's powers to be victorious in the coming Pandemonium war? That would be nice and how will it effect their child if it's done before it's birth. Also, will Kagome and Sesshomaru have the mating rituals before the coming events?
I'm looking forward to future episodes of this marvelous tale.

I'm loving this. Incidentally I've started reading all of your stories and the only true critique I have for you is that hopping from one story to the next for new updates makes me feel like a crazy addict. Generally I don't start stories until they are pretty well established because sometimes authors give up. Life happens, and I get it, but it's heartbreaking when your favorite story dies. Uncharacteristically I'm currently reading (and loving) all of your stories so ..... Thank you. You're awesome!! Please keep up the great work.
I really love this story. It's a great backstory for a part of Sesshomaru's life.
A whole kingdom was basically sacrificed for two people.
Toga seemed like he was a selfish leader for abandoning his people and family when they needed him during the war.
But as the saying goes 'the needs of the many outweighs the needs of the one' even in a life or death situation...?
I hope that Sesshomaru and Kagome can come to a common ground so that they may have a happy life together.
Rape is rape and there is no changing that, but hopefully, Kagome might forgive the transgression upon her by Sesshomaru and move forward.
Keep up the excellent writing with the blending of history and creative interpretations of the anime.

Ugh, breaking my heart!!! But I love the way you're constructing the story with things from the series vs new potential facts that absolutely one could see as plausible. They all have suffered in some way and I look forward to seeing them all eventually heal and triumph.

So sad no wonder why he hated Toga and Inu Yasha took him a long time to let things lie if never forgiven for the crimes against family...

What a terrible way to face your fate - waiting for someone who should be there, who promised to be there, and being resigned to complete loss and death in acknowledging they've abandoned you. I'd be surprised if many of the survivors hadn't filed. Poor Sesshomaru.

Nothing thinking much of Toga right now! No wonder Sesshoumaru can not stand Inuyasha. Seems like he always has been a headache for Sesshoumaru. I guess rightfully Inuyasha probably can claim Lord of the West title. That sure will go well...not! Thanks for the update.
