"Hey Kagome its almost your birthday huh!" Shippo exclaimed to the miko. The young miko wasn't paying attention to the kit. Some thing on her mind kept nagging her.

"Kagome? Kagome? KAGOME?!?!?!"

The kit yelled trying to get her attention. Instantly the miko was startled. As Shippo jumped in front of her she grabbed him to make him stop.

" Shippo Please do not startle me like that, I could have purified you." the young girl firmly said to Shippo. "But you weren't ..paying a..attention...What..what was ..I..I. to do." the little kit whaled Kagome bit her bottom lip. She hadn't meant to scare him it was just the she couldn't keep her powers under control right now. One little scare could have resulted in 3 purified demons and a hanyou.

She looked are to her comrades for help. They looked at her with a Stern and disappointing look upon their faces. The inu-tachi consisted of a tajya , a houshi, a dead miko, kit a neko, two royal oomkami and a inu hanyou.

"Ano...Im going to gather fire wood to start dinner." Kagome announced to the group. "Sango would you like to come?" She asked the tajya . "No..you go be your self." and with that she turned away from her.

Kagome just sighed and left the group to do what she need to.

Once the miko was out of hearing range the inu-tachi began to talk about her. "Who does she think she is?" the inu hanyou bellowed "Making Shippo cry like that!" Shippo was sniffling and went to Kikyo. There he snuggled up next to her. She smiled and turned to her mate.

Im getting tired of saving her ass every time she doesn't pay attention . You know its really annoying." Sango stated her husband Miroku just nodded in agreement

"Kami what in the world was I thinking when I kept claiming her as my mate to be. That Kami the Ayame finally knocked some sense in to me." Koga stated to with his mate Ayame in his lap. She just nodded in agreement.

After a little more saying of the miko they felt and aura that was powerful. It was in the woods near Kagome. Then the canine based youkai smelled blood in the air. It was Kagome's. They stood up and were about to go after her when they sensed her aura coming at and alarming rate. The could feel her confusion mingled in with her blood. She finally burst thought the bushes to their suspire she was facing them with her back towards them. She was breathing hard. Her chest rose and fell at an alarming rate. They couldn't see her face. But they knew she had blood on her some where.

Kagome's free hand clutched her beating heart to calm it down in the other was the tiny pack of fire wood she had collected. "What the hell's going on wench." Inuyasha said with tessaiga's hilt. Something was odd here and he could tell.

Kagome turned her head towards the hanyou she knew. Ice blue eyes connected with golden ones. They all gasped at what they saw. On the girls face was a long gash that went from the bottom of her left eye to the bottom of the jaw. The gash was bleeding immensely .

At this every one drew out their weapons. Ayame from her spot yelled to Kagome " What ever did that better have not followed you here." Kagome looked at them and raised her hand to her face. She touched the wound. Blood soaked her fingers.

She looked at her blood and looked at the full moon. She raised her hand to its and said

" Blood Moon,

Blood Moon ,

Come for me and cleanse me sins with my blood sacrifice tonight"

With that the silver moon turned red as the blood on the girls hand. Kagome smiled and fainted.
