AY-CHAN: hey guys I haven't written in awhile. My other story chances to succeed stopped at chapter 3. (Wah wah, tears gush down her face) Oh well. I just got Blink 182's new CD and I've been listenin to it everyday.

Hope you like! Obvious is my third fav. On the CD. (Feeling this is my all time fave along with I miss you, which I have been thinking of writing about sometime in the near future.

P.s. this is started out as an Inu /KaG but it is a Sesh/ KaG I assure you!

Seshoumaru stares at Kagome longingly.

Flashback

"Will I ever see you again?" Kagome said tears in her eyes. He held her in his embrace for what he thought was the last time.

" You don't belong with me. Go back to my half-brother who you gave your heart to, your love." He said letting go and walking away. Not daring to look back. He smelt the wave of tears as she fell to the ground after being rejected again after she gave the remainder of her heart away. In her head she knew the truth. They were from two different worlds in more than one meaning. She wiped away her tears as she turned her back from the retreating Taiyoukai after gathering the rest of her shattered heart that lie on the ground.

Later

Kagome ran off from the camp once again. ' How could I have been so stupid?' she cried in her head as the image she saw was still freshly imprinted in her mind.

Flashback

"Inuyasha tell me what you think off me?" Kikyo said while brushing the stray silver strands from Inuyasha's face.

"You are my love," he said not aware of an extra pair of eyes watching them. Kikyo however was more than aware. (Heh heh, the dead truly have no secrets)

"Then what of my reincarnation"

" She is but a foolish little girl, not yet a woman, she is mearly my shardetector."

He leaned down towards Kikyo and clashed I an embrace that would have been memorizing, except for the fact that one of them was the living dead. (Shippou-chan: Like a zombie? Right Kagome?

Kagome: a soul sucking, dead, bitch, whore, ho @#%%, *$^#@#%,

Shippou-chan: he flinched as his ouka-san rang out more and more words that he even hasn't heard from InuYasha!)

Kagome ran from the clearing farther and farther into the brush of the forest.

That was how Seshoumaru found her. He kneeled down beside her and brought her into his lap. She automatically brought her face into his haori and grasped her tiny hand into it. He wrapped both arms around the figure against him. Never would he have thought that his half-brother could be so foolish. The gentle creature in his embrace instantly soothed his aura. She was a creature to be cherished and respected. Not thrown down and left to starve from lack of love! He loved her so much as to give her back to her true love not force her to stay with him!

"You were supposed to be happy here. You weren't supposed to be hurt by your true love. You were to be happy my love" He murmured into her hair.

Her heart rate was slow so as to tell him that she was still asleep.

Kagome woke up the next morning in her sleeping bag. Shippou snuggled unconsciously lower into the sleeping bag. She sadly smiled. To be so innocent in all things. Love not tarnished. His heart has mended by now. The loss of his parents was still fresh but hidden deep within himself. He found us and claimed us as his family. He was free from bounds and could leave us at any time he wished but love and laughter made him stay. She sighed wistfully at the empty perch above her as she thought of the Hanyou who had broken her heart so many times. Then she thought at the prideful golden eyes that would never admit to having feelings for a human like her. Then she thought of the night before. "My love?" does he truly think of me like that. Was he so confused as to think that she didn't love him in return? He pushed her away to what he thought was her true love turning his back and walking away. Did he not know that her true love was the one walking away, eyes so full with emotion that made it seem as if he had none?

AT TIMES LIKE THIS

'Kagome' he sighed as he gazed at the western lands from his balcony. What will it take to make you happy again? The briefly happy castle had now returned to there dormant state. Rin once again harassed Jaken with a newfound spark. She thought that since he was ugly as a boy he could be cute as a girl as herself. The other day he found her crying softly in front of the koi pond under a sakura tree in full bloom.

Flashback

"What is the matter Rin?"

"Rin is sad that Kagome-chan has left Rin all alone. Dose she not know that Rin-chan misses her so much?"

"She had to leave Rin I told you that she had to go back once she healed."

"But Rin misses her. Rin even sees how much Seshoumaru-sama misses her. Even more that Rin!" he frowned at that. Reminding himself to not let his feelings be shown again. It was true though he missed her.

End Flashback

"It is for the better." He thought though not as sure of himself as he was before. " Arg! How can she do this to me? I am lying to myself (and talking: ay-chan: giggle!) if I do not admit that I will never be whole again or happy until she is here by my side to stay forever.

I SAW YOU AGAIN

Once again Kagome found herself at a clearing with a living and a dead being embracing each other, both forgetting about everything except each other.

Inuyasha came back to camp once again In the dead of the night expecting everyone to be asleep. They were but the guest wasn't

"What do you want! Seshoumaru!" Inuyasha snarled quietly his hand going to Tetsaiga.

"I dear brother, want nothing of material matter, but more of something priceless."

"What the hell are u talking about ?" he growled.

"That is not for you to know but I would like it if you would answer a question for me."

Not waiting for a reply he went on.

"Why do you take that dead bitch as a mate when you have a woman here that loves you with her entire sense of being. And don't give me that bullshit about how you owe that dead clay pot!"

"She, she, Kagome is not in love with me!"

"Oh on the contraire she is very much in love with you my dear brother. And if you don't plan to take her in the near future I will have to."

" You wouldn't dare. I could break her in a second before you could ever try anything."

" You would never hurt her brother" he grinned

"Who said I had to physically hurt her to break her?" his grinning stopped

" Don't you dare!"

" Kagome is Kikyo's reincarnation and that makes her mine so if you as much touch her I will break her till she dies from heartbreak. I care naught for her but to see you with her will not do at all brother." And with that a certain Hanyou settled down into his perch on the tree to sleep.

It happened every other night and each and every time Kagome could be found crying somewhere not ever fulfilling to let go of her anguish.

Seshoumaru saw her every night and helped her let out her anguish ever time by holding her to him. Not realizing that she too was in love with him. He always thought that those tears were for her not having his brother, but he was wrong.

She cried because seshoumaru was dumb about her feelings towards her. She cried because she envied the relationship that all of her friends had. Miroku and Sango had grown considerably closer to each other in the past few months. Inuyasha had his dead lover. And she. She was pinning for a Taiyoukai stupid enough to believe that she was still in love with his half-brother. She knew he had feelings for her, but he had a hard time realizing it, and an even harder time realizing her feelings for him! She fell asleep crying out her troubles in the haori of one of the Feudal Ages most stupid youkai.

Seshoumaru glanced at the moving object burrowed into his chest. "Seshoumaru?"

" Yes?"

" Do you know how I feel about you?"

" Huh?"

" who do you think is my true love?"

he did not like how this was going.

" My Half-brother Inuyasha of course."

"Nope."

" not that houshi, is it?"

" No stupid. He and Sango are together."

"Then who" he sighed. Why should he care who had her heart. He certainly would never have it.

" A certain: stupid, arrogant, cold hearted, or so I thought, and handsome Taiyoukai." She finished. She smiled up at him but frowned at the forlorn look in his eyes.

" I should have known that you loved that Kouga." He started to stand up " You have my agreement (oh what was the word????????????)" but was tackled back down by a very determined miko.

" Didn't I mention that he is stupid and arrogant and cold-hearted and I am very much in love with him?" she said.

" Yes you did now it is time for me to take my leave"

" You Jerk!"

"WHAT!" he growled

" It's you." She whispered.

"Huh?"

"You! My one true love is the one who does not believe that I could love him. I love you seshoumaru!" she smiled, quickly assessing the situation he brought his lips to rest upon hers, flipping them so as he was on top." I love you as well my love. Kagome." He murmured against her lips.

It's after 4 unless you want to run 3 extra miles this afternoon. Ay-chan shakes head and goes for some water instead. Drill: uh uh. I think I'll just kill you for the fun of it! (Kill= running 2 miles in a 19 min. time limit / pushups/ sit-ups/ crunches/ flutter kicks/ and a whole lot of other crap. I still love her though. Oh and I lose like about 2 pounds every morning and gain back like a pound a day!! Well at least I'll be fit before school starts again! Bye!
