Kagome is an 18 year-old rebel and Sesshoumaru is a 21 year-old hitman. He is paid by Naraku to kill her by Christmas. He is known for killing men clean, no evidence, no stains, and no struggles with them. But Kagome is a handful, will he kill her or will he quit? Kagome is a very popular rebel. She goes against anyone who's mean to others in any threat, especially if they mess with her brothers Sota and Shippo. She is paid and hired free to protect or fight anyone. Sesshoumaru walked down the hotel hall, looking for 515. He came to door and did the 'let-me-in' knock. He knocked twice, whitsled and knocked three times. The door opened and he walked in. He saw a man with black hair along with two other girls. The tall one had black hair in a bun and the little girl with silver/white hair. "Sesshoumaru, the reason why I called you here is because I have another man for you to get rid of. This guy has caught quite a commotion in the streets and he's starting to come close to me. He's starting a threat. Kill him." he told him. Sesshoumaru nodded. "Just give me his profile and info on him. I garuntee Naraku that I will kill him." he answered. "It's a her." Naraku told him. Sesshoumaru raised a brow. 'He's scared of a girl?" he thought. "What's the deadline?" he asked. "Till Christmas." Naraku answered. He threw a bunch a files on the table. "Here's everything about her. Now go." he told Sesshoumaru. Sesshoumaru opened his briefcase and put all the files in. He left the room and into the elevator. 'How could he threathened by a girl?' he thought...

Kagome opened the door to the classroom and saw Shippo sitting in his desk and the teacher sitting in her chair. She walked in and saw the teacher look immediatley at her. "Ms. Higurashi?" she asked. She nodded. "My name's Cindy Coda. Your child here has made alot of commotion in class as well as in recess. He threw a rock at a student and stuck another students hand to desk with glue." she told her. She laughed but stopped. "I'm sure he's sorry. I'll talk to him about it. He won't do it again." she said, taking Shippo's hand. "Alright, but if does it one more time I'm sending him to the office." Cindy said. She nodded and let the two kids run out of the room. Kagome looked at her. "Oh and umm, I'm not there mom. I'm there sister." she said and left.

Kagome went outside to see the two kids anxiously waiting for her to unlock the door. She pressed the unlock button and got into the drivers seat. Souta sat in the back while Shippo sat in the front seat. She turned on the radio and looked at Shippo once in a while. They got to the apartment and went into the elevator. She walked out the elevator, along with the kids, and unlocked the door. The kids immediatley ran to their rooms as Kagome went to the couch. She slipped off her shoes and laid down on the couch. She sighed in comfort and closed her eyes, she suddenly coughed when Shippo and Souta jumped on her stomach. "Kagome, we're hungry!" they both chirped. She sighed and pulled them off. "Order food then, whatever you want." she told them. The boys fought over the phone, Souta started yelling that he wanted to order pizza while Shippo wanted Japanese food. Kagome just laughed and got the phone. "We'll order both." she said and started dialing Pizza Hut.

Sesshoumaru put the briefcase on his table and opened it. 'So many files...' he thought. He started with her criminal records. She had gotten into 20 fights with men and women and is known for jacking cars and unlocking alarms. He looked at her personal file. She was 18, worked at the Cinemarks 10 Movies downtown and at Miroku's Diner, owned a blood red Camaro and was a guardian and sister of two boys. 'So, she protects them?' he thought. She was quite beautiful. He checked the kids files. The second oldest one was Souta Higurashi. He was 13 years-old, he was in 7th grade, was in basketball, and was a troublemaker. Then there was Shippo. He was 12 years old, was the manager in basketball and was also quite a troublemaker. "It runs in the family or something." he said out loud. He looked back at her profile and saw her address. "That's close by. I think I'll stop by." he said, getting his coat and leaving. He'd figure her out somehow.

Kagome looked at her watch and choked on her pizza. "Guys, I've got to get ready for work." she said and ran to her room. The boys just continued eating. She put on a dark blue dress that went up to her knees that had a white collar and sleeve. (uniform) She put her dark blue apron in her purse and went back to the kitchen. "Do you want me to call Kaede to babysit?" she asked. They nodded eagerly. She nodded and got the phone. She dialed and instantly heard a voice. "Kaede here." said the voice. "Kaede? Hi it's Kagome again. I'm sorry, but can you by any chance please babysit? The boys want to see you again." she asked. Keade laughed. "Sure! Let me just get my stuff and I'll be right over." she told Kagome. "Okay, thanks." she said and hung up. She grabbed her keys and kissed her brothers in the head. "Don't get her mad, she's too old to handle you in any physical way." They laughed. "Hey she's cool. We promise we won't." said Souta. Shippo nodded. Kagome laughed and started to walk to the door. "Okay, I'll see you all later." she left and closed the door. She saw Kaede walking up the stairs. "Kaede, do you need help?" she asked. Kaede shook her head. "I'm not THAT old!" She said and opened the door."I'll put them in bed before 10." she said. Kagome nodded. "Thank you." she said, hugging Kaede. She took off downstairs and suddenly bumped into something rough. She was about to fall, but was caught with an arm around her waist. She was quickly lifted straight up. She fixed herself and looked to see a very tall, handsome man. "Umm, thanks." she said. The man nodded. "It's alright." he said. She nodded and was about to walk away, when he pushed her against the wall. She growled and looked to the guy. "Who are you?" she asked. "I'm Sesshoumaru. Do you know a man name Naraku?" he asked. She nodded. "He's the boss of the Han-Mans. Why?" she asked curiously. He pulled out a gun and pointed it right at her forehead. She caught her breath andmoved closer to the wall. "What relation do you have with him?" he asked.

"None at all. I only know by insults and reputation." she answered. He narrowed his eyes. "Do you lie?" he asked. She sighed. "No you idiot." she said and pushed him away. "Now excuse me, I have to go to work." she said and left. She ran across the street and walked into the restruant. A man with dark hair looked at her. "You're late Kagome!" he yelled. "Sorry Miroku, I had to find a babysitter!" she said and ran in the back. She put on her apron and puled a pencil with an orderpad. She walked out and saw a couple sit in a table. She walked to them and gave them two menu. "Hello, welcome to Miroku's Diner. What would you like?" she said. The girl looked at her. "Give me coffee as well as a Chicken Fried Steak with lots of gravy and have corn instead of gravy on my mash potatoes." the girl said and gave her the menu. "And you sweetie?" the girl asked. The guy smiled. "Thanks Kikyo. Yes I'd like a cup of PURIFIED water as well as a quarter leg chicken with b-b-q sauce and put butter on my corn." he said giving her the menu. She instantly wrote it all done and smiled. "It'll be ready in a few minutes." she said and went to the counter. SHe put the paper on the pin and got the coffee and water. She brought it to the couple and put it in front of them. Kikyo just looked at her and then at the guy. When Kagome left, Kikyo got the man's hand. "Inuyasha, do you have a feeling that something's wrong with her?" she asked. Inuyasha nodded. "Like as if she's unhappy or unsafe." he answered. Kagome came back with there food and left. Kagome saw a man walk to a booth by himself and instantly went to him. "Hello, welcome to Miroku's Diner. What can I get you?" she asked, giving him a menu. "Your blood." Kagome looked and saw Sesshoumaru. "Leave me alone please. I haven't done anything to anyone." she said. He pulled her into the booth and put a hand around her neck. "I could kill you right now, you know?" he told her . She sighed. "Look, just please tell me why you want to kill me?" she asked. He smiled. "Naraku paid me to kill you, so I'm warning you to watch your back." he said. She sighed and was about to get off, but he held on to her arm more. "Did I say you could leave?" he told her. She growled. "Look, I'm working right now. Just wait for me to finish." she said. He sighed and nodded. He let her go and watched her leave. She went to the couple. "How are you all doing?" she asked with a cheerful smile. "Fine, can we have our check please?" Kikyo asked. She nodded and pulled out the check. "Go to Sango, she's the girl next to the door. You can pay her." she said. "Thank you." Inuyasha said. "Thank you and please come again." Kagome said and went to a man at the counter. "Can I help you?" she asked. "Hey baby, how you doing?" she looked to see Koga. "Koga, go home. I'm not your baby." she said. "Kagome, if you wanted a baby you could have said so." Koga said with a wink. Kagome sighed."Koga I don't like you, please leave." she said. "No, I want water with my usual Shrimp vs Fish meal." he told her. She wrote it down and put it on the pin. She then got a cup of water and put it in front of him. She felt him touch her hand and snapped her hand back.

"Kagome, have you're break already. I'll give you 20 minutes." Miroku yelled. Kagome sighed and sat in one booths in the back. She rested her head on the table and closed her eyes. She felt someone sit next to her and saw Sesshoumaru. "What now?" she asked. He stared at her. "Who is Kouga?" he asked. "He's just some creap that practically loves me. He comes here to ask me out, but I always say no." she answered. "Why?" he asked. "He abused his last girlfriend." she said. He nodded. "Can I ask you a question?" he asked her. "What?" she said. "Do you have a boyfriend?" he asked. She laughed. "Hell no! All the guys are never protective. The only thing they are protective of is their car, money, a women's body, and their family jewels down there." she said. He laughed. She couldn't help but laugh too. "Exucse me?" she looked and saw Kouga. "Who the fuck is this Kagome?" Kouga yelled. "He's just a friend." she answered. Kouga looked at Sesshoumaru. "She's my woman!" he yelled at him. Sesshoumaru rolled his eyes. "I'm not with her like that." he told Kouga. Kouga shoved him. "GET YOUR ASS UP AND TELL IT TO MY FACE." Kouga yelled. Sesshoumaru sighed. "I'm not interested into childish games." Sesshoumaru mummbled. Kouga growled furiously. "Kagome let's go." Kouga said. "No." she just said. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN NO!?" Kouga yelled. Kagome flinched and practically leaned but hid behind Sesshoumaru. Sesshoumaru noticed this and closed his eyes. 'She's so warm and soft...' he thought. He never met a girl like her that had soft skin. HE opened to his eyes though to see Kouga arm stretched, grabbing Kagome from the neck. "Come on Kagome!" he said, forcing Kagome to choke. Sesshoumaru grabbed Kougas arm and kicked his body to the counter. Kagome went unconsinous and was about the table, but he put an arm around her waist, causing her to be leaning against his chest. He picked her up bridal-style and left to his house....
