The Letter

"No, you are my friend and I don't wish to throw that away." Kagome again turned down the star wearing Koga.

"But Miss Kagome..."

"Sorry." She turned and walked to the young red head sitting on the porch.

"He ask again?" Shippo looked up from his book. He tend to spend a lot of time with his teacher the kind and beautiful Kagome. "Will he learn?"

"Afraid not Kit." The nick was given to him beause he was as smart as a fox.

"Shippo!!" A young girl ran up to the two, her black hair flowing behind her. "I got a message that my father is coming here soon." Rin's grandmother moved them to a rear by town after her father left to find work and never returned; although he sented money and letters often. Her father never showed emtion but when the older women died and Rin moved in with a widow in their town in the middle of nowhere and that is where she and Shippo meet and became best friends.

Shippo was another story. He lost his father at a young age. And his mother is deadly ill as they spoke. The poor kid had to stay away most of the time due to the fact she was hardly ever awake. "Shippo why don't you run off and play with Rin. I would like to go and have a world with Sango."

Sango was Kagome's best friend and the one that got her the job as school teacher. Kagome had been walking through the derest and was half dead when Sango found her. Kagome worked in Sango's small dress shop until the teacher fell ill and died. Sango talked with the town's folk and Kagome was given the job on the spot. She was loved by all the childern and they learned more than thought possible.

Sesshomaru stood up streching in the next two days he would hold his daughter again. It has been yrs sence they saw and when he found out the lastest outlaw was spotted out side her town he knew had to check on her. The guy hated his family and wanted them all dead. His brother had already felt the cold hand of death from the bastard. His sister-in-law was killed by his hands only a year ago.

FLASHBACK

Sesshomaru and Inuyasha were returning to the family's ranch when the smell of smoke hit them hard. Inuyasha's wife was the only one there for the fact Sesshomaru just moved his daughter to live with her grandmother after his wife died of an illness. The brothers forced their horses to run faster. Then they saw it. Flames, the whole ranch was up in them. Two figures stood on this side of the hell in front of the brothers. "Naraku you will not live long I swear on all that is holy. My family will not let an outlaw destory their home with out their death."

"Sweet Kikyo all you had to do was share my bed but not that dog you call a husband is your love. So you must die my beautiful love." With that he pulled out a handgun and aimed.

"KIKYO!" Inuyasha yelled as the shoot went off. Naraku looked up and let out a devilesh laugh than ran off into the east. Inu ran up to his fading wife. He pulled her into an embrace. "Don't die my love you can't I love you too much i may die as well."

"No you must kill that bastard." She said in a low deadthly (no clue if that is a word) voice. "Love again my love." She kissed him and took her last breath.

Sesshomaru felt the lost coming off his brother and it made him sick. Yes, when his lost Rin's mother she had been sick and it was long coming. Kikyo was ripped from their hands never an easy thing to handle. But as she said this family would make the bastard pay with his life if it took them to the end of their's.

END FLASHBACK

Sence that day the hunt has not ended and will not untill they have his head. Sesshomaru had problems with the ranch and they choice to sale it. Heck he like city life better and planed to move to the city when he was done, if Rin wanted to come she could but for all he know she hated him. With one look around he found Inu and Miroku sleeping still. Miroku was oldest member of the gang after Naraku. He losted his father and almost his life to the slime ball. The gang was made up of 6 men that Sess and Inu picked up a long the way. All of them have had the son of a bitch tough their life and wanted him dead. Of course Sess was the leader with the best shot it was believe he be the one to kill the s.o.b. But he knew the shoot belong to someone they have yet to meet but will very soon.
