Kagome felt her anxiousness build as her "mother" drove her "home." After 17 years, her "parents" wanted her back. Kagome felt like a reusable diaper. Take a shit on her, leave her for fly food, and then pick her up and wash her out and use her again. *Shampoo, rinse, repeat.* Kagome thought sarcastically.
Her "mother" glanced at her daughter. The girl was clad in a black dress down to her knees; she had on combat boots, black-and-white striped socks, and the black dress was a little lacey near the neck and sleeves. At least she dressed better than her twin, Kikyou. That crazy, love-struck girl was always running around in spandex (a/n- bad image, I know!), stiletto pumps, and dresses that were made for three-year-olds.
*I feel sorry for the Taisho boy.* Amy (a/n- Mrs. Hirugashi) thought. If only she could remember his name. Sesshomaru? Inuyasha? *it doesn't matter, Kikyou loves him and he has to come over for dinner some time, right?* Amy asked herself.

"Hello? Oh- hi Sesshy-baby!" Kikyou chirped as she tried to set up dinner and talk on the phone at the same time. She listened to Sesshomaru for a minute and then broke out into a beam. She giggled happily and almost dropped a dinner plate. Her mother's fiancé caught it and shot her a look. Kikyou ignored it and listened to her "Sesshy-baby." "Of course, Sesshomaru! You can also meet my sister on Friday!" Kikyou paused and laughed. "Of course I have a sister. We're identical twins and her name is Kagome." Kikyou laughed and the front door opened. As her sister and her mother walked into the dining room, the plate fell to the floor and shattered into pieces, like Kikyou's heart would soon be...
"Kagome," Kikyou said breathlessly, "is it really you?"
*No, it's fucking Santa Claus, who else would it be you bimbo clone?* Kagome thought sarcastically. But she smiled and nodded her head. Tears flooded Kikyou's chocolate brown eyes and she rushed forward to see her long lost sister. Kagome smiled and let Kikyou embrace her. While the girls had their reunion, Houjo (A/n- the fiancé guy) told Sesshomaru that Kikyou would call him back.
Kikyou dragged Kagome over to the dinner table and began to serve dinner. She made sure Kagome was seated before she started to place the food on their plates. Kagome stared at the food before her. She had lived in America a few times, and she wasn't sure if she remembered how to use chopsticks. Luckily for her, Kikyou laid a set of silverware down before her.
Kikyou tried to explain how to use them, like Kagome had never seen them before. Finally, Kagome just picked up the dinner plate herself and put the veal, angel hair pasta, and fried baby tomatoes (a/n- this is actually very good; my mom makes it for me all the time.) on her plate and began to eat. Amy laughed at the look on Kikyou's face. Amy and Houjo sat down and everyone but Kikyou was eating.
Kikyou called Sesshomaru back, and all night they talked. Kagome had to sleep in the cellar in the extra room down there. It was cold and little drafty, but she loved it. She couldn't wait to put up all of her things and make the room hers. She undressed, carefully placing her boots by the bed, and slipped into her nightgown. She climbed underneath the covers and fell asleep almost instantly as Kikyou chatted happily with her boyfriend. All the while, her jealousy of Kagome grew...

Kikyou flipped the egg and pressed the spatula down on it to try and make it cook faster. Kagome smelled bacon and was dressed in minutes. She had been staying with her real family for a week, today was Friday and Kikyou was ecstatic that everyone would finally meet her boyfriend, Sesshomaru. Kagome was starving and she remembered when she lived in Spain. Her adoptive mother taught her how to say "I am hungry" in Spanish, as well as her entire English vocabulary.
"Tengo hambre," she moaned, rubbing her stomach.
"What does that mean, dear?" Amy asked as she sipped her cup of coffee. Houjo sat next to her, eating bacon, eggs, and sausages (a/n- I'm making myself hungry!) while reading the newspaper.
"Translated it literately means 'I have hunger,' but it means 'I am hungry.'" Kagome explained as she helped herself to the sausages. Kikyou asked her more questions about Spanish, and Kagome answered them all, she was glad that she was getting her twin sister back for being such a stuck up little annoying person. For some reason, Kagome disliked Kikyou... Kikyou was bouncy, happy all the time, had a loving boyfriend and yadda, yadda, yadda ya! Kagome wondered if Kikyou knew how annoying she could be. Always trying to outdo Kagome made Kikyou really look like a bimbo, instead of someone who had straight "A"s all through high school. She had even refused to believe that Kagome was to go to college in the fall, but wanted to take a year off. Kikyou said that it was simply impossible.
*I'll give her impossible* Kagome thought as Kikyou chatted away on her cell phone. Kikyou hung up and jumped to her feet, screaming and laughing. Kagome stared at her, an eyebrow raised. She sighed and then decided that she needed to get out of the house. She grabbed her boots, slipped them on, and then made her way downstairs. She opened a small window and squeezed herself through it. The smell of wet, freshly cut grass assaulted her nose, and Kagome smiled in relief. Maybe she could find somebody interesting in this town...

Inuyasha fell and swore. Kouga laughed at the disgruntled hanyou. Inuyasha had been trying to do a Death Spiral on Sesshomaru's skateboard, only it hadn't worked very well.
"Sesshomaru's gonna kick yer ass, Mutt-face!" Kouga gasped as he tried not to laugh. It didn't work very well.
"Kouga, why was he trying to do a figure skating move in the first place?" Hiten asked, tears of laughter streaming down his face.
"How do you know what kind of move that was?" Kouga asked, suspiciously. Hiten shrugged.
"My little sister, Shoten, likes to watch figure skating." He explained. Kouga and Inuyasha lost focus as they noticed a girl walking towards them. She looked as if she was bimbo goth at first, but her eyes and body language showed them that she was confident, smart, and had great taste in music. She had on a tattered and torn (a/n- sorry, I have to use it!) Slipknot shirt, purple lined black cargo pants, combat boots, and a couple of spiked necklaces along with a small silver cross.
"Hey, are you new in town?" Kouga asked as the girl walked closer. The girl stopped and looked at him.
"Yeah, and if you're looking for a good fuck, then go do yourself because I don't have time to play with little baby wolves." She said carefully, watching him. Kouga held up his hands in defense and she relaxed. He meant no harm to her.
"I have a girl, sorry, but I don't do the whole 'Let's go rape an innocent ningen', but you better watch out for Inuyasha, you look exactly like Kikyou and he loves her." Kouga said.
"Kikyou Hirugashi?" The girl asked.
Inuyasha looked at her nodded, a faint blush spreading across his face. "Yeah, but she's dating my older half-brother."
"I'm Kikyou's sister." Kagome said. The three guys gaped at her. She laughed.
"Yeah, we're twins. Sesshomaru's supposed to be coming over tonight to 'meet the folks.'" Kagome said as she sat down on a bench.
The four of them laughed and Kagome felt that she had finally found friends and she hoped that Sesshomaru would be as nice.

Glowing red eyes shot through the deep eternal darkness. After eons of sitting in the glacier, he was finally free from Midoriko's curse. His eyes hurt, he was not used to seeing with them, it was all so surreal to him, and it was amazing. He stretched; his muscles ached after eons of dormancy and for sitting for so long in a cross legged position. He looked up... And saw the woman that had freed him from his icy prison.
Hair as deep brown as her eyes, pale skin and a sinister look about her. Her aura was dark and cloudy, but was masked by a miko's purifying energy. Too bad it didn't fool him for a second who her incarnation was.
"Tsubaki," he hissed; his voice hoarse for years of complete and utter silence. "How long has it been since I've been cast in this dark place?"
Tsubaki's reincarnation smiled, her brown eyes turning the color of the sunset. "It has been too many to count, Master." The youkai lifted his head. He liked the sound of that.
"Tell me reincarnation, what is your name?" he asked as he stood up, a little shaky after decades of sitting down.
"My name is Hirugashi," her sunset eyes flashed to blue, "Kagome Sakura Hirugashi, at your service, Master Naraku."
