HA!
Peach again!
Your battle scene was wonderful, btw.
This story...was just amazing. Your original characters had such depth to them - and to endear them to your readers (at least as you have with me) is quite the feat.
I very much enjoyed this story, and it now resides in my little list of favorites, which only has the best stories I've ever read on it :].
Thank you so much for writing such a wonderful fic! Other than that, all I can say is a repeat of my first review. Looking forward to reading the rest of your work!

There it is. 'bout time. *sniff*
Now that we've finally reached this point, I must go to bed. It's past seven in the morning, I've been reading all night! I'll have you know, it's all your fault...too bad I can't use this as my excuse.
I'm sure I'll be back tonight. ;o)
This story is incredible!

Ahhhh! Magenta or peach, magenta or peach...oi.
You are gifted at writing lemons, you know. Too bad it's not the good stuff yet! lol.
:]

Well, if you think of any others, let me know! ;-p
Kogame at full power and taking Anubis down a few pegs had me feeling proud! Go, Kagome!
Sesshoumaru was so sweet there at the end, too... *dreamy sigh*
Next!

Omg, I just cracked up. I can just picture it.
Oh - and every time Buhito's last name, Teriyaki, is mentioned, I think of chicken. Yum!
Ok, ok...moving on! I've been reading in one sitting so far - why stop? No bed for me! I am enthralled...

There are very, very few stories out there that can come even close to the level yours is on. I'm relatively new to IY fanfiction (reading almost exclusively HP, and some Yu Yu Hakusho), but the Sess/Kag pairing immediately caught my 'fancy'. 'As Death Gives Life' is the best Sess/Kag story I've ever read - and I include Resmiranda's Tales from the House of the Moon in my consideration (that comes close second to this for me :o). I know that by saying I'm new might lead you to believe that I haven't the authority to be giving such praise, but by new I mean I've been reading IY a few months - compared to all the experience and variety from the last 7 years I've been reading HP. In addition, given how much I like to read, I've actually read quite a bit of IY in the last few months and this is truly the best I've read. With how completely well-written, interesting, ORIGINAL, wonderful, and just totally high-quality this story is, I would be very appreciative of any recommendations you could make to me for other stories (as I'm sure you hold what you read to the same standards as you hold your own writing). Only what you can think of off of the top of your head, and if you have the time, of course! If that time could be used updating, I'd much rather you did that!
You, of course, do not need to recommend anything of your own as I will be checking out the rest once I'm finished with this story!
Expect more reviews from me in the future :].
I don't mean to sound full of myself - I just thought that my review should be worthy of the story...if that makes sense. lol.
Oh - I have a question. In this chapter, you have written:
"He blinked and she was there, crouching on the limb right in front of him. Her shimmering powder blue tresses danced gently in the light breeze. Enchanting magenta eyes were locked with his flashing amber orbs."
...Must go back and search now. Oi.
In chapter ten you write:
"The female youkai had long baby blue hair, which was in direct contrast to her large sparkling eyes the color of ripe peaches. "
I'm assuming the magenta was a mistake? I personally like the sound of the peach eyes in contrast to the magenta better...not that that should hold any sway over Her Majesty Authoress! ;-p
Heading off now to do some more reading of the story that is so high in the ranks of ALL fanfiction! (Must stop spouting - I'll have nothing to write for the rest of my reviews!)
Much too bad I'll have to head to bed soon...but first, at least one more chapter ;o).

In a search for a well put together and exhilarating story, I came across this one. I have to say, I was most pleased! This is by far one of the best fanfictions I have ever had the joy of reading. You are a very talented writer. The storyline, characters, and their interactions with one another was astounding.
Some stories have parts that are overly detailed, and no matter how well written, become rather drab. I found none of this in As Death Gives Life. I believe that should you decide to pursue a career in professional writing, you will be well accepted, and I for one, would be an avid reader of your books.

I absolutely LOVED that story. I was a tad disappointed as I though perhaps Kagura and Kanna would show for the last battle. I would love to see a story about Shippo and his learning to rule and what not. Please let me know if you have done one and where I might find it.

You wrote out everything so wonderfully and even your OC characters were just as lovable as the original characters. (I loved Lord Buhito and Lady Chika!) But wow, I've read this for most of a week and must say it was worth it. I believe if you want to do that continuation with a Shippo and Kebecht coupling: it would be spectacular. I was sensing possible chemistry in the end there and would enjoy reading their budding relationship. (Though nothing will beat the Sesshoumaru and Kagome pairing!) Sorry I typed so much! Didn't mean to fill up your review mailbox! XD

Your story is fantastic, the parings are perfect (even Inuyasha/Kat, usually I hate OCs), but I hate Anubis. Sooooooo much.
Sango is my new favorite character :3

It took me 3 days to read the 41 chapters, but they were the happiest 3 days of my life! This story is simply amazing, and i can only dream to aspire to such talents as you yourself, aspire! This is without a doubt, a very original and magnificant work of art! Thank you so much for gracing the literate world with your gifts!

You write excellent! Good grammar and spelling, which is very important to me. And the charactarisations were splendid! Sesshoumaru is hard to portray, but you did a great job at that! Your lemons are always tasty, and I think I'm gonna have a look at that house of lemons you have posted on AFF. ;)
Thanks for hours of good reading!

“According to the Hiyamo Treaty formed by the High Demon Lords of Japan, the Lord Burito Teriyaki of the Northern Lands is within his rights by law to formally challenge Lord Fuskae Himagachi in a battle to the death for his crimes against his house. The challenge is made and approval is sought by the revered Prince of the Western Lands, Lord Sesshomaru.â€Â
You see you spelled Lord Buhito's name wrong (though I find it hilarious 'Burito Teriyaki!!! HAHA Tis funny) Also you tend to spell feet 'feat'. Feet are the things our toes and legs are attatched to and feat is a task or some sort.
Otherwise, great work! You are by far one of the BEST authoresses out there!!

Anywho! I've absolutely loved reading it. Sesshomaru and Kagome's interactions were wonderful! ::giggles smirking:: I don't know what else to say. It's an awesome story, and while I'm not so much inclined anymore to the other characters besides Kagome and Sesshomaru (a by-product of reading too many of those fis in the beginning of my fic-dom reading) I'd be intrested in reading a sequel for Kebechet and Shippo. ^___^ I would also, if its alright with you, wish to post this story on my TDTA site (it's not completely revamped yet, so you can't go visit; sorry) if that'd be alright, just let me know!
Blessed Be with all your writing endevors hun! I'll be keeping an eye out for your works. hehe Good luck! JA!

I've always loved your work and the moment Shippo grew I had thought he and Kebechet would be great together, I hope you do write a sequel, definatly not as long as this story, but I would really like it, please continue writing so that I can continue enjoying!
