In the End
Picture information
Description:
Sigh, finally finished a picture... one down and about 100 unfinished to go.
My computer screen broke down and I had to plug in an old TV with horrible color, light and contrast settings, so what do I do? I draw a picture that is totally dependant on fine values and tones, I'm stupid, I know. I have no idea how this looks on a decent screen. Is it too dark, too light? Are the colors off, how's the contrast? I would really appreciate if you let me know. Its supposed to look a bit flat and desaturated.
For those who like moodmusic I would recommend 'A Hill with No Name' by the Yoshida Brothers.
Please take the time to view in 100%. Compression does strange things to the lines and colors.

you took the words right out of my mouth...tragic yet romantic....but beautiful nonetheless!!
Don't worry about the colors, I think it looks fabulous just the way it is!
I was just humming that song as I was staring at this beautiful piece! Weird. :)
That said, Landare, your hands are magical and this is tragically beautiful/beautifully tragic.
It's simply, beautiful.
Oh my! After I read your comment I went to youtube and listened to the song, I have never heard it before but the text seems... applicable, and it even has the same title!
Funny is that in one version of the pic there is exactly the same kind of mudcracked ground that is shown in the video.
;D It reminds me of that song: Linkin Park - In the end
Very beautiful and tragic picture. I love it!
