" Sesshomaru.. GO AWAY!" Kagome yelled at Sesshomaru who was curled up at her side, his head on her swollen middle.

" Sh, Kagome, you'll wake the puppies." Sesshomaru whispered as he pressed his ear against her swollen stomach harder, listening to the heart beats coming from his litter of puppies.

Kagome glowered. Who was he to tell her to be quiet. She was barely a month into her pregnancy and already he was annoying her. Never mind the pregnancy doesn't even follow the regular pattern. She was already at Twenty centimeters around. That was not normal. Never mind she had no idea how many mini Sesshomaru's she had inside of her. Yet he had to the nerve to tell her to sh.

" Sesshomaru get off of me." Kagome growled, pushing her hands against his head to attempt to move him.

Sesshomaru grabbed her hands and held them tightly.

"Woman, I am not going to miss a moment of this. These little puppies are ours. I don't want to miss a single moment." Sesshomaru whispered, his voice full of wonder and love. He never knew that becoming a father felt so wonderful. If he had known, he would have pupped Kagome years ago.

" Sesshomaru, they are not even born yet. You won't miss a thing!" Kagome said angrily, tears springing to her eyes.

" Kagome, I don't want to miss one moment of their development. These are my little puppies." He said his voice hard until he mentioned his pups.

"Ugh, Sesshomaru you are worse than my mother!" Kagome slumped against the chair she was sitting, lowering her chin to touch her chest. Kagome felt a tear slide down her cheek. Life was not fair. She could never escape him.

" Shh, it's ok my little puppies, Mommies just being a grumpy dog. Don't you worry. Daddy will take care of you." Sesshomaru cooed to her stomach as he rubbed soothing circles with his hand on the side of her middle that his ear wasn't pressed against.

"I can't even rub my own belly", Kagome mumbled.
