This is my first fic so if you could, even if it's not finished, i would like reviews so i know if i'm doing anything wrong, plz!

The Meeting

the night is coming.

Hushed whispers,

radiance recedes

and now, I come to life;

I can emerge,

unfold my wings

of regal hues,

of blue and black

and as the last rays of the dying sun,

blood red, now fall and falter

and the endless beauty,

splendor now arises all around,

so do I rise, so do I wake,

so do I fly.

He dreaded the fact he was here and that he still lived, and he always would. He would spend his life watching others die. Sesshomaru sat there staring out his window, watching as the living went by without a care in the world. it annoyed him how they could just walk around and not give a damn whether they would die that day or not. 'What do i care? They would all die eventually' thought Sesshomaru coldly.

Sesshomaru then turned to look at himself in the mirror. Over all he looked like a normal person, except for the fact that he was the living dead, or as people called it, a vampire. He looked himself over once to make sure his attire was proper enough for the interviews he was about to listen to. apparently he was in need of a new secretary and the interviews were tonight.He never went out during the day because he would turn to ash.

He was currently wearing a black suit with a blue button up shirt with a silver/purple tie. His long silver tresses were a stark contrast to his midnight black suit. His hair was was left loose that reached below his mid thigh. The final touch was a dark brown coat and his purple scarf.(and yes, fluffy is wearing purple)

After one more look over he decided it was time to go, even though he dreaded the though of being around so many mortals.

"Jaken" Sesshomaru didn't have to wait long as his retainer entered his chambers.He was and ugly toad demon that had insisted on following him back during the feudal era. "Prepare me things, i have business to attend to." he growled out as he notice the creature looking at him expectantly.

"H-hai. m'lord" The frightend toad hurried off to complete his tasks before his lord became anymore agitated. Sesshomaru groaned inwardly as he watched his loyal retainer hurry off to do as he was told. 'Jaken is in serious need of a bath...I'll throw him into a pond on my way out'

Sesshomaru walked down the hall to find everything was ready for his departure. As he walked up to Jaken with his usual stoic mask on he noticed the creature shaking and decided maybe he would wait till later to throw him in a pond. Sesshomaru's voice filled the silence "You will make sure nothing goes wrong." He watch as Jaken bowed low to the ground" hai sesshommaru-sama" with a curt nod Sesshomaru was off. unknowingly heading to what could be his demise, or his future.

**With Kagome**

Kagome sat at her vanity as she prepared for her interview tonight. she inwardly sighed as she thought about it 'it's more of an open interview, so my chances are probably slim, but hell what do i got to lose?'

To Kagome this whole night interview was weird enough, not even adding the rumors she'd heard over the years. apparently people thought him to be a cold blooded killer and that he kills his assistants after he was done with them.

'OH KAMI, Kagome what are you getting your self into this time?'

"oh well, might as well live life to the fullest. Hey mom! are you sure your ok with me going to this interview tonight?" she called down the hall only to receive a muffled reply, which meant her mother was already in bed. Kagome sighed aloud as she sat back down and brushed through her hair, she wore a pink floral skirt with a pink sleeveless turtle neck sweater, she ran a lint roller over it and applied little makeup.

"well Kagome i think your ready" she thought aloud as she grabbed her keys and headed out side. As she got in the car and started the engine of her small metro car she couldn't help, but feel that something was off about her possible future employer. Well if i'm going to work with him i'm going to have to figure him out, well atleast a bit" and with that she pulled out of her drive way. I wonder what he looks like, i've heard about him, i've just never met him' she sighed and decided she really needed to stop that.

**Back with Sesshomaru**

Sesshomaru chance a look out of his door only to find at least one hundred young women that clearly just wanted to get in his bed...or on his desk.

'disgusting' he thought as he once again enclosed himself in his office. He turned to his mother, Who had come to calm him if one of these girls blood drew his attention. 'Not likely', but he wasn't complaining. he never got to see his mother anymore and it was nice having her here.

"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll survive a few simple interviews" she said as she walked over and gave him a loving hug.

"you don't understand mother, there's a sea of woman out side my door. I guarantee they're not thinking about working for me" he said that with a growl of disgust that his mother understood all to well. She had been like that when she were younger, just the thought of the males that had fought over her made her shudder.

Sesshomaru looked at he clock 'ok i have 10 more minutes until i have to get this done and over with.' He sighed as he hugged his mother back, something he would never do in public which was something he missed very much.

"I miss hugging you like this, but i guess i have to remember your no longer a pup anymore. i will be here if you have a bad reaction to any of the girls, i promise." she giggled as Sesshomaru began to purr as she stroked his tail, she used to do this whenever he had a nightmare.

**Parking Garage**

" MOVE!!!! damn does no one know how to drive in this place!" Kagome's patience was vanishing very quickly. ' I can't believe i'm going to be late, well maybe there'll be lots of people and I'll be able to sneak in without getting caught' she groaned ' not likely'

Finally the car in front of her decided to stop talking to the car next to him and she got to the door in a flash.

she bolted to the elevator and caught it just as it was closing. she stood here for a while until she felt a hand on her back side. her eyebrow began to twitch as she swung around to find a man with a very happy look on his face "HENTAI!!". everyone in the building heard the resounding smacking noise. her face was a fire red as she swung around as the door opened and march out, leaving an unconscious man on the floor. Her temper was getting the better of her and it wasn't getting any better as people stared at her. she made i to the doors and opened to be stunned at how many women there were here ' damb do no guys want a job? i guess guys think it's to girly of a job' she noticed that all the women were dressed in skimpy dresses or suits that made her fell under dressed in her simple outfit. she walked to the nearest seat as they started letting women in.

**Over 4 hours later**

Sesshomaru sat at his desk holding the bridge of his nose, his mother stood behind him as another slutty women left his office. "how many more are there?" he groaned.

"Only a few more, I'm surprised they're still awake, it's 3 in the morning. I'll go get the next girl."

Kagome had fallen asleep and was now resting her head against the wall. Sora walked out of the office and spotted only one more girl. It startled her for a moment because she was nothing like the other girls. Her aura was pure, as was her scent, 'you don't find people like that anymore.' with that she raised her voice again so she would wake her "next" She could've laughed at the bewildered look on her face as she looked around.

she woke with a start and stared at the room in disbelief. she was the last one here. That's when she spotted the lovely women standing in the door. Not know how long she had been waiting for her to wake Kagome hurried to her feet and bowed low. "gomen"

As the quiet apology reached her ears she frowned at how timid this girl was. It would be a miracle if she didn't pass out from stress during this inter view, "come" and with that she turned and almost smiled as she heard the small foot steps of the girl behind here. She made her way back to her son and bent down to his ear and whispered "one more" with that she straightened up and saw the girl enter the room, that's when everything went wrong. Thus "The Meeting"
