One White Lily by Jenna
This...That...And the Whole Crazy Thing!
Ok, so this is my first fanfic so please go easy on me. The chapters will be short for a couple weeks but will get longer because I get out of school on the 24th of May. So please R, R, and R. I hope to get constructive criticism but if you are going to flame then don't review in the first place, I want to get better, not be torn down by those who have nothing better to do with their time. OK, so now that that is done, well shall continue on with our story.

Why am I always left with the mess?
"Inuyasha." He knew that sound, it was entirely too sweet and innocent. He started to worry for his health. "Oswari!" As the last word touched Kagome's lips she heard a loud crashing sound coming from behind her; she almost felt bad for the dog that was currently face down in an oddly human sized crater.
"Inuyasha! Why do you always have to rummage through my backpack, ignore me when I say to stop, and then throw everything on the ground when you have found what you want? Don't you have any manners? Do you think that I believe you when you say you're sorry, and immediately afterwards you go and do the same thing again? I'm sorry that you're so bullheaded and can't even wait for me when the word Ramen is mentioned," she took a quick breath, and a very fun idea came into her head, "I don't know about you Sango but I think that it's about time for me to stop bringing these Ramens here. I might just have to leave Inu...INUYASHA what are you doing?" The fact was that the hanyou had glommed onto her leg and was holding on with a vice-like grip. "Kagome!" Inuyasha was on the verge of taking out his anger with a few well-aimed Kaze no Kizus and a small grove of trees, "If you do not bring Ramen, I swear by all that matters, I will hunt you down and drag you by the hair into your era and force you to bye the Ramen at the market that is super!" Kagome gave a sigh, her plan had backfired; instead of Inuyasha whimpering and begging her to reconsider, he was angry and on the verge of threatening her, worse than he already had.

Sango was in frenzy. Why would he say something like that to Kagome? Doesn't he know that she is going through? I mean honestly, I have to deal with Miroku's perverted ways and this crap! Kagome travels back to her time and then to us here, I can't even imagine what this "school" is like, considering she has so many tests, and if they are anything like what I had to do to become a youkai taijia, it can't be easy.
"Sango, Sango, Sango!" she was brought out of her trance by the voice of the monk, "Sango, you were breathing heavily, I was worried about you." Sango looked up at the face of the monk; it was one of those moments when if she had to, she would have gladly given her life for the monk. Unfortunately, the moment was broken when Sango felt the "cursed" hand of the monk on her backside. The women delivered a sharp blow to the back of the houshi's head, "Hentai! Trust you to ruin a beautiful moment for a lecherous one!" Miroku was gently rubbing his wounded head as he grabbed the closest hand to him. A very startled kit-sune squeaked and a very angry taijia was glaring daggers at him. "Sango-chan, let me explain! Sango-chan, sama? What do you want from me, I can't help it if my hands are cursed! Sango!" A still irritated Inuyasha intercepted him. "Houshi, it is better to let her be and allow Kagome to listen to her troubles." Miroku nodded and walked away. In all actuality, he was really quite impressed with the oh-so-rare tidbit of wisdom from the inu-hanyou.

Kagome had been watching the whole thing. She understood perfectly how the woman felt. She knew what it was like for her to love someone and yet always have those moments yanked away. "Sango-chan, you should let me listen to your troubles." Sango glanced up from polishing her Hiraikotsu. "Kagome, I just have no idea what I have to do to make Miroku love me for me and not..." Kagome grabbed her by the hand, "But Sango, he does love you for you, if he hadn't would he have asked you to marry him. And that time in Mt. Hakurei, he would have gladly given his life for you, if I was informed correctly." "Kagome why do men all have to be such lechers?" A small smile grazed her face but quickly disappeared. "I wonder how Kohaku is doing. He is becoming more of a man everyday, I'm sure of it. How can Naraku do something like that? How do you always manage to have a smiling face even when time seem as if they could not be cloudier? These are all questions that I wish I could answer, but I fear that I never will. I only pray that in some small way, I will be given clues for finding these answers." "Sango-chan, I know we will free Kohaku. Naraku is an evil person and will be punished for his actions! To quote myself 'Naraku, you're going down!' As for your question of me always being able to smile, well I just think that if anything were ever to happen, I could always talk to you, Miroku, Shippo and even Inuyasha. That's what keeps me going Sango, you keep me going." Sango's smile was radiant; Kagome looked on as she pondered the way life would be after Naraku was dead. She knew their small group of five could not defeat him on their own; they would need help. From Kikyo and Kouga, maybe even Ayame. Who else could help them? Of course how could she forget the Killing Perfection, Sesshomaru himself? Yes he was powerful and hated Naraku as well, but it was constantly with the "Die Inuyasha," or the, "Disgusting hanyou," or even a personal attack on her like, "Impudent wench!" God he was infuriating but they would indeed need his help if they were ever to defe...Her thoughts were cut short she felt something.
It was not a jewel shard, and there was not demonic aura present, at least not one that was powerful enough to pose a threat. Kagome whipped around, her ebony hair flying behind her. She gazed into the woods; she was still able to feel the eyes boring into the back of her skull. "Maybe the stress and exercise are getting to me." So lost in her thoughts was she that she could not even hear the call of her name. "Kagome, are you alright? Kagome what is wrong?" With a start the feeling faded and Kagome turned to face her friend. "I'm fine Sango, just a bit of a start. I heard a bird in the forest and wasn't expecting it." Sango gave her friend an inquisitive look and turned to head back to camp. "Kagome lets head back, before anyone begins to worry." Kagome nodded and headed off behind her friend.

He watched as the pair faded into the black of the trees and beyond his sight. The young girls were interesting, but the miko was especially. She had such power, but it was raw and uncut like a new diamond. He would find out more about her, if she was indeed the reincarnation of the dead priestess then she would be a formidable enemy. The sooner they got that option out of the way, the better.

That's it for now. Don't yell at me if it was terrible, I am trying to improve. The next chapter should be out fairly soon, but with school and everything I wont be able to update everyday. Well Oyasuminasai.
