The way they were treating her was ridiculous. It was as if they were waiting for her to hurl herself off a cliff after having some sort of freakish breakdown. They were all watching her, even Inuyasha, which was funny in an ironic sort of way. He had "rejected" her for Kikyo and yet here he was ignoring the undead priestess to make sure she was okay.

"Do you want to go to the hot springs Kagome?"

"No I'm okay."

"Do you want me to hit that idiot Kagome?"

"No that's okay Shippo!"

"Do you want to have my children Kagome?"

Sigh. "No Miroku."

"Mew"

"No Kirara, I don't want to go home, I'm okay I promise."

"Do you want to come be my woman now or later Kagome?"

"No Kouga, thanks for the offer."

She was tired of the constant attention placed on her. She wasn't a ticking time bomb or anything; she simply had gotten over Inuyasha. Hadn't anyone thought of that? Although she was flattered and happy that they cared so much about her but it was now bordering on obsession. Not even two days before, she had stumbled upon Miroku, Sango, Shippo, Kouga, Kaede, Rin, Inuyasha, Kikyo, having a conference about her.

Helleven Jaken was there.

"She's clearly unstable."

"Don't talk about Kagome like that; she just needs time to adjust."

"My reincarnation should have expected this."

"Yes, I would never do anything to hurt her but she knew this was coming."

"Shut up DOG BREATH I'm trying to find a way of getting my woman home."

"Kouga you'll never learn."

"Shut up runt!"

"Ye shouldn't talk to young Shippo like that."

"Shut up hag"

"Rin thinks you shouldn't talk to Lady Kaede like that. Sesshomaru-sama and Jaken say to treat your elders with respect."

"That is right Rin; our luminous and brilliant lord spoke those wise words."

She had stormed off minutes later, how foolish were they?

Sure she had run through rough times with Inuyasha in the past but she had gotten over him, and did what most girls her age did, move on. But somehow they couldn't grasp this idea. They sat in a group around her, their eyes trying to penetrate her soul. They tried to whisper tiny observations to one another but failed miserably.

"Look at her pacing."

"You can see the tears in her eyes."

"She's trying to stop the hurt by eating. She's gained a few pounds recently."

ALRIGHT THAT WAS IT.

Whirling around, eyes on fire, she told them exactly what she thought of their observations and where they could shove them. Red faced and panting, she looked at the flabbergasted group.

"She's worse than we thought."

She was looking for a machete somewhere.

"You know why I'm not devastated over Inuyasha?" she paused, watching as they all came closer to hear her confession. "It's because... I'M BANGING SESSHOMARU!" she shouted to the skies. The words echoed throughout the forest, shaking the birds from their nests. Huffing and stomping off into woods, with mouths agape, they could only watch as Kagome stomped back, Sesshomaru in tow. Settling in front of the group, she wrapped one arm around his waist and pulled his head down and...well let's just say she showed them how well she had gotten over Inuyasha.
