Those last two chapters were spectacular! Chapter 15 was great because Neikan making a sudden appearance wasn't surprising...but him having Rin held captive in his stolen citadel was; my jaw dropped a little when I read that because he really IS so much like Naraku, but different - his personality is much more entertaining. And after reading chapter 16 I am starting to see a new aspect to his personality...he's flipping insane and I just love it. Its so great to see him appear again I am brimming with happiness thank you~ <3 Chapter 15 just led up to 16 beautifully. I was extremely interested when I noticed Sesshoumaru placed Kagome's safety above Rin's! It gives a nice perspective on just how he feels about her; especially how he loses control like that in the end. Oh~! Speaking of the end, is it bad that I laughed a lot at the part when the guards FINALLY decided to inform Sesshoumaru of Kagome's lack of presence? Like really - LOL; so stuuuupid. A week! And they were still just standing there and weren't even going to go to the study to tell him about it. Though he could have checked her room earlier, sheesh. But anyway I just love the subtle humor you add in here and there, keep it up!

And chapter 16 was just awesome; you nailed it. I had imagined what had happened once she arrived in the south to rescue Rin. I had guessed that he would test her skills once more but wasn't sure if he'd seriously try and kill her or not. You built it up perfectly to the point where something had broken through her barrier and wounded her; I think I held my breath when I read that part because she is strong but as a human she is fragile when it comes to physical attacks. When I think about it its actually interesting how you are shaping her fighting style. In other stories the writers mostly would have someone train Kagome in sword fighting and she'd utilize a magic sword or something for close range combat but in your case you have her fighting with her bow and arrows through any combat situation while she utilizes barriers for a shield. I like it! Its kind of a unique way to do it while if she perfects her barriers no one will even be able to touch her while she lays down the holy powers on the bad guys. I like how she has a marksmanship skills with just her energy alone too. You are doing brilliantly with your developement with her.

Oh and the way she blasted Neikan into hell after he threatened Rin was just perfect! He should know better than to play games with Kagome but when you threaten someone she cares about then you're definitely into it. When that had happened I had thought "Is he dead...?" but of course he just runs off from a few boo boos from holy powers. Though Sesshoumaru's irate entrance was a bit unexpected and so was Rin's skill and healing. I hope Kagome pulls through from her wounds. I like how she's improved but it looks like she still has more to improve on.

Ah~ okay I typed too much again didn't I? I can't help it though I just love this story, really. Plus this is covering for like two amazing chapters! I am really anticipating the next one and I love how much you are updating! As usual keep up the fantastic work (:

I am so hooked on this story that it's ridiculous... I just read all 16 chapters and about cried when I realized there was not another one!  You have done a simply FABULOUS job keeping the characters so... in character! I cannot wait for more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh man, poor Sesshoumaru, I hope Kagome can manage to defeet or at least thwart her enemie's efforts and save Rin or else the Daiyoukai will be crushed. Great story so far!!! Thanks for sharing it.

Man....I have conflicted feelings about this chapter. Although I'm happy Sesshomaru is little by little becoming more open towards Kagome, my heart breaks for Takashi, because  he loves her, he wants to fight for her, and I bet he even hopes he can win her heart, but he also realizes that maybe  Sesshomaru has beat him to it, and that my friends hurts like hell.  To want something you cant have, to be so close, and yet so far away...... makes me want to curl up in a ball in some dark corner and cry for him!!!  TT.TT (great chapter BTW, looking forward to more)

I absolutely love your story! Your Sesshomaru is wonderful and the 'failed' love triangle is a secret pleasure of mine. Keep it up!

"Never? He's never laughed?" - Ahahaha. Sorry I'm not sure why but at that point I literally laughed out loud because I just found that part comical. It was just perfect since I was able to imagine the look on her face when she said that and even imagined the tone of her voice playing in my head as she said it; I loved how you built it up to that point. Kagome is cute in this story, acting so surprised that no one has ever heard Sesshoumaru laugh even though that would be expected by anyone! Speaking of cuteness this whole entire chapter was just cute! I'm excited that she's hit a new stepping stone in controlling her powers however you managed to mix in a cute moment between her and Sesshoumaru in the process when she wrecks the trees and he just laughs at her. Made me smile myself (: Even better you updated swiftly again! Kudos to you for sending out another awesome chapter~ so far the story is flowing along nicely and its going by at a great pace.

I feel bad for Takashi however. The girl that he likes is falling for a family member of his right under his nose! And its not like anyone is truly aware of how anyone feels. I'm really anticipating the next chapter. Oh and by the way I didn't think the last chapter with the first POV was bad or anything, it was quite refreshing actually since it offered us a take on the story from a different point of view. Kohana is a lovely character, just as kind and carefree as her brother and it was nice to read it in first person from her perspective.
