Really great story. I think her friends are taking her feelings into consideration waayy too much. She winds up getting hurt even more than if they were to tell her straight out. Inu's a bastard thinking he can have the honey and sugar, but the bees are coming soon enough.

This story is amazing, and I'm slightly urked with myself for ignoring it for this long. Your writing style has such life to it, such quit wit and honest, tangible emotions it's easy to get caught up in the characters' world and sympathize with them. Every twist is unexpected and your transitions are magic. What I love most is the realism involved in each relationship. The progression of Sesshoumaru and Kagome's feelings for each other are developing at the perfect pace, because many times, when you think you're in love with one person (Inuyasha, in this case), you're blind to the one you're truly meant for, the one you experience real love with. It's not that the love between Inu and Kags is any less, but Inuyasha is immature and the issues they deal with reflects that. Kagome has had a very hard time of it, and I appreciate that you're setting her up for a big revelation concerning Sesshoumaru's feelings for her. It's quite a blissful feeling to be able to experience the blossoming of love along side the main character. Gah, this is such a beautiful, romantic, down-to-earth story. I'm enamored with every little detail. The only thing I'm confused about is the title...not quite sure what it refers to yet but I trust your style and vision too much to worry about it. Great stuff. Please keep it up!
