I'm incredibly intrigued! I like the atmosphere & suspense you built. I wasn't sure if the village headman was going to hand Kagome over to a savior or a villian. I'm looking forward to finding out why the village would trust a demon when (from the prologue, if I read it correctly) demons seem to have been all but wiped out or are in hiding.

I can't wait to see what happens next :)
