I got that last time. I don't know if I jumped the gun or if Kagome is just a tad bit slower. This is sure to be one good story though. I am now more interested in her story then Sesshoumaru's kill. I wonder if she would be for a marriage from the head or the heart for Sesshoumaru. I eagerly await a story to die for. I can't wait to see what happens next and the Lady of the West in a different light :)

Let me guess who Sesshoumaru's mom was in love with...Ryuukotsei? Then that might be one of the reasons why he and InuTashio were fighting, causes his death, blah blah blah.

Thats very sad to be in love with someone but then have to be with someone else just because there are those who think you are the best match and fit. I usually love story time but seems like their family is just chalk full of tragic stories. Hopefully things will start to turn around and happy stories will soon be all this family has. I still can't wait to see what Sesshoumaru brings back form the hunt. I can't wait to see what happens next :)

Poor Sessmom I really like the way you are portraying her character. It's nice to see her not being portrayed as such a witch :)   Sounds like she had a tragic love affair and it makes me wonder if she will push for Sesshoumaru to mate for love or politics?

Poor Sess-mom. I love this line of thought though, no one that I've read has really looked at it all from her perspective. I really like it.

Now I´m curious how YOU will explain Inuyasha´s existence. I´ve always asked myself how Inutaisho could turn from the Western Lady to Izayoi but was never satisfied that he fell in love with her because seriously, in the third movie Izayoi adresses Inutaisho as "Lord" and not as an equal partner. It seemed like she was some sort of concubine and got pregnant. I just don´t believe in the great love stories that fanficiton writers like to spin between the beautiful but typical princess and the powerful General who already had a mate, that equaled him in every way. Was the Lady´s apathy so great that he searched for something else? But honestly, what could a sheltered human princess who is also reserved (which is common for japanese nobels) have that drove him into her bed at least once? Her beauty alone wouldn´t make sense as she couldn´t compare with the Lady´s unearthy beauty. I always thought that Inutaisho just took her because he could and because he was curious to see, what the difference between human and youkai females are.

The Western Lady didn't need to sound that eager about killing her if word ever got out (snickers). I wonder what story you will create to explain this one and I wonder if Sesshoumaru will catch his mother and his vassal (or maybe kagome is considered his servant) together in the family cave. This seems like it is going to be an interesting story so I don't want Sesshoumaru to interept it. I can't wait to see what will happen next :)

So...the Western Lady does have a vicious side :)
