Okay, you just broke my brain. Either I read something wrong (I don't think so) or I made a bad assumption (possible), because my continuity alarm is going into meltdown. 

That Kenta has silver eyes is well-established. (Ch. 58, 67, 91, etc.)

Hideki has copper eyes. (Ch. 282)

Now, the chapter I'm freaking out over is 268. "It seemed their little ally wasn’t the only one pinning her hopes on the silver-eyed upstart." And Sess-mom comments that she's learned something interesting. So when I read that chapter I started trying to figure out who's checking out Kenta and at first I'm thinking Hanako and quickly dismiss it (too easy... in so many ways). So then I figure it's Chou and of course she's out of his league, but that seems to be the theme around here and hey... the heart wants what the heart wants. So anyway, I figure OK then forthright is doing a history-repeating-itself-don't-make-my-mistakes love quadrangle. To turn this into an analogy:

Inu no Taisho & Izayoi : Sess-mom & Yuji :: Sesshoumaru & Kagome : Chou & Kenta

Now in 290 Sess-mom is commenting that Chou has her eyes on Hideki! Just a few chapters ago I started thinking I needed diagram out all the who-likes-who, but now I'm all confused and my mental chart is all messed up and my nice neat analogy is useless. So I guess my question is who was checking out Kenta in 268? Misdirection? But maybe that's not important and I'm obsessing over unimportant details...

Hahaha...and I know exactly what she is talking bout, I can picture them. I wonder how old Storyteller-sama is then or what he would beconsidered if not old (and without a mate). I wonder how this night will turnout and how he will put. Move on Kagome with someone else there that can report back to Sesshoumaru too. I can't wait to see what happens next and if they will receive another guest :)

Lol this one was so funny! I would have felt the same as Kagome. Although, some guys in their 20s have naturally shaggy brows. Tends to be in the family d=INUYA

bahaha eyebrows!! xD thanks for the bit of light to the otherwise darkness of the recent updates! i'm glad someone is paying attention to Kagome!! maybe Sesshoumaru will realize he's being stupid!! But by then it might be too late... and well I wouldn't blame Kagome one bit! :/

Yes!! Kagome is gaining favor as well. :) I like the thought of that. Sesshou can gain favor from the Lady demonesses and Kagome can gain the favor of the Lord demons. *shrug* Since she is only his friend and ally, there's no reason she can't have a nice time while there without him, just as he can without her.  I thought Storyteller-sama was old, too. lol. I guess that sets me straight.

Looks like someone is stepping in for Sesshoumaru. Wonder how this will turn out, but it is niceoff Storyteller-sama to be conscientious of Kagome's place and his place in relation to it.he still wanted her enough to find a way around that. I wonder whose night will be more interesting, Kagome or Sesshoumaru. I can't wait to see what happens next :)
