The title of this chapter says so much. The description of the tranquil garden was a nice contrast to the overall increasing tension of this chapter--all those male egos clashing! The gloves are off! Loved the Inuyasha POV; he almost serves as a Greek chorus giving insight into the action and the dynamics between father and son...a foul-mouthed Greek chorus. They are all in so much trouble! They know the women are on their way, but can't resist getting a few blows in. I'm sure it will hit the proverbial fan.
Sess and Yoshiro are due for a heart to heart--the son seems to take after his mother in many respects, namely he wears his emotions on his sleeve.
The circle symbolism and speculation on Youkai versus human life spans and growth rates were nice details *wink*

A nice shift in time. Sounds as though the years have been lived in as much normalcy as possible and that Satori's mission is still not fulfilled. A new being enters their life that may or may not have trouble attached to it. I assume that Satori knows of it and for the sake of love she is respecting his request for her silence. Am I to also to guess correctly that Sango's longevity in life has to do with a mating with Masaru? Hmm, time will tell I am sure. I'm off for now. Hugs JEN
I have fallen in love with your writing style. I adore it. I don't think I've ever seen Lord Sesshomaru's personality rewritten to be so exact by another author that is not Rumiko Takahashi. And that, fellow writer, is an amazing accomplishment in my book. I am falling in love with Yoshiro.... just thought I'd say that. Please, keep up the wonderful work and I look foreward to learning more about how Yoshiro gains acceptance and understanding for himself and how his father is.

This is definitely going to be a great sequel to TSNNAM, as soon as you finish it that is. I mean, really, posting what is practically the sequel before you're even done with the first! But I am most definitely not complaining. This proves that the main characters all manage to survive the final battle intact (not that there really was ever any doubt). I'm a bit worried about one thing though, there has yet to be a mention of Miroku, or how Sango managed to live so long. I guess we'll all just have to wait for the end of TSNNAM for the anser to that particular riddle. I don't know what to think about this Padhraig guy as of yet though. He seems like a decent sort, but he's definitely got something to hide. And what exactly is Satori going to save the world from? And better yet, what the heck does the name have to do with anything at all?!?!?!?! But besides all that, it was great. Of course it was great, you wrote it!
Perfect, as always. But you already know what I think. :)
