So far so good. i.e. Good job
WOW!!! Incredible! I just started reading your fanfic and so far, I'm impressed! It's completely different than what I expected! Usually when I read stories involving Kagome as a nurse or care taker/healer for Sesshoumaru, they aren't nearly as descriptive and often skim over descriptive detailing. I can tell you are highly educated in the medical field and have done thorough reserch for medical practice and certain World History events to incorporate in your fanfic!
I was a CNA for 3 years and later enrolled in the Medical Laboratory Technician program in college until last fall semester. Because of that training I was able to understand and follow all the medical terminology fairly easy.
Also, I must applaud you for having the courage and audacity that most author/authoress wouldn't have by making Sesshoumaru completely and uterly dependent, helpless, and (in my opinion) quite pitiable for so long. You really brought out all the drastic harsh realities that is involved with diseases, coma's, cerebral palsy, meningitis effects on the brain (Ken), and detailed descriptions of the struggles of everyday life for those afflicted and the care takers that assist them! WELL DONE! I've witnessed and experienced first hand situations that are incorporated by being a CNA. It's not as simple, and definately not pretty, easy, or "routine" as some would think. Anything can happen and patients can change within a blink of an eye.
Furthermore, I absolutely LOVE the "Legend of the Thornbird" idea in your fanfic! It's so beautiful, tragic, and symbolic! Truly befitting of all the suffering Sesshoumaru has endured! I also LOVED when Sess told Kagome that the demon whose life was saved by a human woman, when she literaly held his heart to keep it from bleeding out, was indeed his DAD! That was extremely sweet and ironicly very similar with the situation between him and Kagome. BRAVO!!!
Finally, I noticed that Kanrau's name can be changed to Naraku's if you rearrange the letters, so I'm now kind of hoping for some kind of villian or love rival to add some new twist and more angsty moments to an already drama filled fanfic! Maybe? Ne? I can only only hope for more since you've already got my attention with your talented writing skills!
Anyways, I think I might have overdone my review a bit, but I couldn't have wrote less if I tried! *LOL* THANKYOU so much for creating such a wonderful fanfic, providing a download link to beautiful music, and ESPECIALLY for updating at such a FAST pace!!! Can't wait for more! Keep up the GREAT work!

Wow, lots of flirting (that I love) and poor Sesshy he had a cold. Ewwwwww that was nasty about the mug and all. Bleh I almost threw up!!!
Courtney (Chapter 19) - Thu 29 Apr 2010
So, I've been reading this story since you've first posted it, and I've only just noticed that Kanrau is an anagram for Naraku. Only just now, at chapter 19...I kinda feel like an idiot.
Ha! Akemi got fired for stealing drugs from work! Justice is served! And you know, I REALLY like Naraku's descendent. He's pretty cool, for a doctor. And for the offspring of an evil megalomaniac.
LOL that was a funny chapter... kinda gross to, but I know how it goes with the man spitting crap in a cup and leaving it lying around.... sooooo gross *shudders*. And I loved the oreo bit, it would be so funny to see Sesshomaru eating cookies and even dipping them in milk. Also when he hugged her while she was talking to Hana, that was so cute! I never thought he'd be the one for PDA even in the slightest, but it seems he's finally unbending a bit.
Great job as always and see ya tomorrow!
dayna (Chapter 19) - Thu 29 Apr 2010
Hahahaha I enjoyed that chapter very much. It was very entertaining. Cant wait for the next chapter. I love the fact that Kagome is learning the language of silence more and more as the story goes on. The kiss in the rain is ever girls dream kiss....well mine anyway. :)
Giggle. I recongnized most of the med words in chapter one except for a few. This STNA learn something new everyday! Reading chapter one made me feel like I was at work again (I am employed in a nursing home as well, the short-term "hospital to home" section). It is always jumpin' and there is no set schedule that the residents like to follow like in the long term sections, so it is considered the hardest section.
I like the story so far, true to form and funtion of a nursing facility.
I also hug you for being strong enough to work in one as well! *huggles*
Well this is the first time I heard about reverse sneezing. XD I think I learn a lot of things from reading your fic. Those medical ones are great. Interesting as a matter of facts. XD And gosh, Sessh sure have a disgusting habit here and there,
While I loved this chapter, I found the funniest part to be his cold because I have one with the exact same symptoms while I am writing this...Haha.
Looking foward to tomorrow's update!
Saide (Chapter 19) - Thu 29 Apr 2010
Sesshomaru enjoying an Oreo. Priceless.
But what's more priceless is him having a cold and sneezing! Another one to add to the list. <3333333333
LOL poor, poor Sesshoumaru!! It sure sucks to catch a cold, but to use a mug as a phlegm spittoon?? LOL!! That was hilarious. I love the cute Oreo scene and the rest room scene with Hana too:) Kiss in the rain was a perfect scene. You write everything so well, be it serious, funny, informative or romantic.
