Lately I have been going back through some of the older, best stories that I have read over the past 20 years. Thankfully the people on this site are good at finding the older stories and are really helpful, because I am terrible at it.
This xmas story was at the top of my list as a story that I enjoyed and one that I really wish would be finished, but I know you can probably only write when inspired so I have no right to ask you to finish it, but maybe you can at least answer a question for me.
I thought that Sesshomaru and Kagome mated, but in the last chapter Kagura makes it clear that Kagome is still a Higurashi, not a Taisho. Is she referring to marriage? In a lot of the fan fiction, mating is supposed to mean more then marriage since it ties together energies souls, lifelines, etc
In this fiction, does marriage mean more then mating?

I have followed this story since the beginning. I have found it to be a very captivating story. However, This last Chapter I felt that there was a rather huge chunk missing. In the last chapter Kagome was reunited with Souta. Then there was a year jump in the time line. What about the reunion? Nothing was touched on this. It was a huge missed opportunity for a scene with Sesshomaru and Kagome. too. Thank you sex is awesome especially when you have found a missing person in someones life. lol.
I do really love this story. The time jump and missed scenes with the souta reunion were the only things

Anyway, I loved this! I'm so glad that you're continuing this, even though I am a bit late to the party :) I wonder if Sesshy knew he was screwed and sent Inu and Miroku on a 'Special Errand' to make up for his comments...lol!
I LOVED the bit between Jak and Holtz! He's so naughty and the chase, oh man! I was grinning while reading that...then the mental image of Kagura tripping and diving head first into a pile of yellow snow, I couldn't help but to die laughing! I just had this mental Jak voice going Mmmm, yellow snow! was it good, Kagura?

| I just read this whole piece front to back and loved every second of it...probably again. And the whole Kouga ditty in chapter...blah...was absolutely pricelessly hilarious. | Out of all your stories on here, I think this one is my favorite. Sometimes you make references and word it to where I'd have to think about it and wouldnt really get it but I like the plot.
