This was well written. Interesting premise. Ok conflict resolution wise. I didn't particularly like the "males must defend mates," aspect but that is just me. As for the character's: loved Abi and Jaken. Everyone else was too ooc to connect to. If this had been an original story with original characters I probably would have enjoyed it more. Overall alright. Left a weird taste in my mouth by the end.
*Spoiler alert*
I got wigged out by the idea of Inu dreaming up sesskags sex life. That's just wonky, and as for it being his dream, he was not there often enough to make a believeable dream depiction of sesskag's "love life," which I also had an issue wit,h but that is beside the point. I also can't imagine a man who has never had sex dream up the interaction between Rin and Sun, talk about creepy. Other than that I loved the little insights provided about sess's psyche and the tessaiga/ blanket scenario.
Great story. I was a bit pissed at the ending but then I remember the actual movie "Atonement" and how I was utterly livid I was at that end. But the anger has subsided and I get it now. I spend the whole day reading your story and I laughed and cried and I will never regret reading it.
This was all a dream?! Wow! You really got me, hook, line and sinker, from start to end, and now you dropped the biggest bomb yet! Well played, Miss Kagura! Kudos to your brilliant imagination and writing. The ending was totally Inception quality. ;) I still refuse to believe this was all a dream by Inuyasha. Kinda sad for that poor guy. Nevertheless, I'm glad your epilogue was completely different from others as well as diverged from canon. Ok, enough gushing about your awesomeness. I shall review about the story now. It's a little pitiful that Rin had to die so many times. Can't a poor girl just live once? Haha.. But if it weren't for Inuyasha's careless mistake, Sesshoumaru and Kagome would not have been together. Their love story is just great. I liked the way you portray each of the characters. Sesshoumaru was deadly but with depth to his soul. Kagome wasn't the normal helpless girl. And Abi is one hell of a cat! Meow! I was so psyched when she finally met Inuyasha. Their chemistry was sparking! Ooh! I love love love the forest top habitat. Great idea really. Where do you get all your inspiration from? Although, Miroku and Sango weren't given much in plot time, I'm happy you introduced Sun! He seems like the perfect match for Rin. It was interesting, the way they met. How Rin fell, jumped and then got picked up by Sun. =) Aww... I just can't stop babbling. I think I should end here, and go into post-awesome-fanfic depression. Thanks for the story!!! ^^

I have no idea why my previous reviews turned out blank. I don't usually leave reviews, so for me to do it 3 times proves how impressed I was with this story. Hope you'll continue to write fanfics!
Vel (Chapter 25) - Sat 09 Mar 2013
I'm sure you get this a lot. I love this story, but can't reallthey and the 'it was all a dream'. In general, it's a clichat that serves little purpose, and in this case I feel like it didn't add anything at all to the story but a depressing spin on an otherwise uplifting ending. I feel like it essentially dim issues everything in the story, and not just the events, but the messages as well. So, while I love your story, I will live with the blissful pretence that those last paragraphe don't exist
Son of a #%*!? No way! That seriously did not just happen?! I never imagined that would happen. Oh gosh, no... This is this tale ends? Cannot write educated sentences. Train of thought derailed.
Seriously one of the funniest chapters I've read.
Perfect!!!
Wait a sec so it was all inuyashas dream?!!!
