I understand what Kagome is going through because I went through the exact same scenario when I was seventeen. I had graduated from HS and had high hopes for my future then within two months I found myself pregnant. I had a sympathetic mother but my father was very harsh. I had some money saved up from a part time job I had while in school, bottom line was I ran away from home and somehow my mother got me to come back home. Yesterday, my son celebrated his 41st birthday and I had another son by the same guy not quite a year later and my youngest son will be 40 in October. I raised them with the help of my family as a single parent, of course my father tried to kill me and we never spoke except a few words before he died. Now I am about to become a great-grandmother in July. I did manage to fulfill some of my dreams and I finally got my BS degree three years ago. I have a feeling that you will make Kagome a sucess in this story. Great job and update soon! *hugs and smiles*

You are really good at portraying characters. The way Kagome and Sess were portrayed in chapter one, amazing. I could tell just what kind of people they were, by their actions, not paragraphs of description. Then, when Inuyasha and Kikyo were introduced, it was the same. You gave me a perfect mental image with just a few words. Then, Kagome's mom and dad! Yikes. She MUST get away from those two. Particularly her father. He's a villain! Great writing, I can't wait for more!

All right, another update! I am so into this story, I feel terrible for Kagome. Inuyasha is such a jerk. Wonder what it's gonna take for Kagome to call Sess? Or is Sess going to find her, first? Can't wait to find out! Nice chapter, nice writing. I'm loving it.

I'm so pleased you posted another chapter so quickly. So, Inuyasha's the father. Sigh. I kind of guessed it. That rat. Poor Kagome, that's why I have always been into Sess/Kag or even Kouga/Kag pairings. I loved the content, and the writing style. Everything was excellent, except for one itty, bitty thing. That's the way you left out a lot of the "I"s, such as "Am having", etc. It was interesting, but it kind of threw off the flow, which is one of the things I admired the most about chapter 1. But I still love the story! Keep up the great work, I hope you update again soon!
