oh no, you mean Ah-Un is (are) really dead? I was holding out hope that he (they) were just injured, until I read your author's note. (still secretly in denial and crossing my fingers).  as always, I delight in your intricate plotline and nicely flowing prose; I just can't get enough of this story (so I'm loving the unexpectedly frequent updates recently)

phew thnk god that was just a dream for i second i was like noooooooo kagome. but then i realized she was kidnapped lol. as this chapter as a whole i loved it. sesshoumaru's reaction to the nightmare was cute. but the omen was bad, this is very bad sesshoumaru needs to find out whats going on nd quick.  although it was a short chapter. i love this story enough not to care and it adds more to the cliff hanger bc there was no relief on kagome's side i've already drawen a few pictures and i cn't wait to upload them so you can see them :)

You write so well, it makes me cry. Literally.

I can't wait until Sesshoumaru goes to rescue her. Which is what I'm assuming will happen although it would be nice to see Kagome save her own ass as well lol.

it is not my habit to rite to the author and presume to give remarks about a story.  the story must unfold as seen by its originator.  it is for the reader to enjoy the tale or to forget it in favor of another.  but i admitt that i have enjoyed the spin of this story.  i do morn that a beast so nobel as  ah-un is hurt.  your long silence at the mid-piont of this tale and the flurry of additional chapters have kept me very busy.  please do continue this story which i hope to have an ending that i can look forward to, with pleasure.  and if Lord Sesshoumaru does not need the gold,  perhaps he will  buy the freedom of the hapless girls forced into slavery.  to be Geisha.

I felt the tension here. Just made me real all sad inside. And the end part of this chapter, I got so all obsessed that I got to draw myself what Sesshoumaru's portrait looked like. >.<;;;

Oh my!  Poor poor AhUhn!... Who is the bad man?  I can't wait to find out!  I hope Sesshomaru doesn't ignore his gut feeling!

Ohoho, warrior boots, booming voice and animal stench, could it be... Kumano? :D I wonder if he (if it is indeed him) is working on his own, with the jewel thief, or if he IS the jewel thief (though I didn't think him stealthy or smart enough). Either way if it is him he now knows that she is the priestess who guards the jewel (either he found out through eavesdropping or someone else), if it isn't him then I guess it could be our jewel thief. Or, it may be someone else entirely ^^; And it seems that Kagome was intending to return to the Geisha house and continue on like normal, though now who knows where she'll end up. Ahhh, I hope Ah-Un is okaayyy, I thought for a moment that she was even going to jump off when she figured out that she was the one who the attacker wanted.

Ooh, I like the painting anology, very unique! I love omens, they always make people feel so much worse when they find out about the actual event. Please, get Sesshoumaru's butt in gear so that he can forgive her. Granted, it would take forever because she did mess it up royally, but they need to get over themselves and quickly.

very good chapter but who has captured poor Kagome.  And Sesshou doen't even realize that he just might have sent her off to her death.  will he heed the omen?  prolly not till its almost too late or after a few more omens or sumthin cause he is like that.
