Yeah, can we have Sesshomaru and Kagome honestly speak with each other. I hate conflict surrounded by misunderstandings.

On a side note, at least Sesshoumaru and Kagome are keen enough to want to hear the actual words coming from their own mouths, although I hate the fact that the both of them are enduring such nastiness from such an ugly, conniving peacock. I can't wait for the next installment, and I hope the minute the pair see each other, their connection with each other clicks without anymore interferences. I can only so much more angst! 

Please please please, don't let that dumb turtle or Empress suddenly step in for more drama!

He can't say (Emperor) that is natural for things that rise to fall, but still want his monarchy to stay constant. If his belief is that all those in power and glory must also lose it eventually, then he has to believe the same thing for Empire. 

Why no one has tried to kill him and his wife and taken over the whole kingdom is beyond me. Pandemonium seems like everyone is fair game. So I'm obviously missing something or forgot something I read before 

Wow! Two delicious chapters in one day! Thank you so much. Interesting, It almost sounds like the Emperor is looking for a successor. If he is failing then so is his mate. No wonder she is "behaving oddly ". This has become one of my favorite stories and I always look forward to the next update.

Hm could it be that the emperor's life force is being sucked dry by his empress? or is it something more the emperor can't say...  I have a feeling the vulture clan may well be up for the position of emperor...  I hope Sesshomaru gets to Kagome before anything else happens.

Ahh poor Sesshomaru trying to reason with the Emperor I doubt he will allow any relief for he cares not for his people only himself.  Perhaps one day it may change....  Until then I can't wait to read what Sesshomaru thinks about his mates time away with the vulture.

The Emperor brings up a good point. Maybe it's up to Sessh and Kags to personally decree the House of the Moon will no longer participate regardless. Looking forward to the next updates and seeing how our girl will handle the rest of this night.

Why do I get the sense Sesshoumaru is going to be very aware of the conversation the minute he sets his eyes on Kagome and his loyal canine behaviour is going to kick in.

I'm glad she recovered herself at the end but I know that wench put those niggleing thoughts in her head. They both need to clear things up between them. 

That conniving canary! I'm glad Kagome held her ground and mostly kept her composure. Although, I am surprised she was so affected by that rude bird's words. Why didn't she remember what Sesshoumaru told her about not wanting anything to do with that foul fowl? Was it simply forgetting their conversation or was there some power or magic influencing the negative thoughts? I hope she talks to Sesshoumaru about what was said and that he definitely tells her that he wants no part of being a kagao. I mean, obviously, I also hope they build on their connection more and come to realize that despite their beginnings, they both want more than their agreed upon arrangement...but I know that will probably take longer to get there. 

So I deeply love this story. And I adore Kagome's character arc. I'm glad you wrote her standing up against the birds, even though she's emotionally hurt and confused. I can't wait to read Sesshoumaru's reaction and see how he comforts her, since it's so obvious that he's fallen in love but is shying away from realizing it himself due to his belief that Kagome hates him. You've written this interaction so we'll, I read the chapter twice.

I really hope Kagome sticks to her own words and doesn't end up believing that horrible woman

Kagome was ready to fry some chicken or is it vulture, anyways, even though the vulture got underneath Kagome's skin she did not allow her emotions to rule her she remembered talks in the beginning about him freeing her after a second child but they have grown closer and Kagome is finding her footing in a new land and plans to go to the yokai's schooling system. I believe after having a heart to heart talk things will get better.
