I'm so sorry to hear about your burnout but, that's also totally understandable. Your writing is, as always, beautiful and makes me want to reach into the story and hug them all. Please know that although we are always dying for the next update we can be patient and when you are ready to write and post it we will be here. Whether that's in five minutes or five years. I truly appreciate you dedication to your stories and this pairing. I hope classes become less stressful but, in this day and age that's unlikely. 

Oh this is soooo good! Great chapter! I'm glad Kagome got to experience Sesshoumaru's memories like this and the hug at the end...wonderful.

It's crazy how I'm feeling the exact same way Kagome is feeling. Witnessing Sesshoumaru's memories and just the overarching theme of loss throughout his life.. I weep.  

This chapter was so emotional. To know that Sesshomaru shed tears for his sister was so heartbreaking. The whole scene was gut-wrenching. But the end of this chapter was so beautiful. The way he trembled within her embrace made my heart ache for him. I certainly hope that he tells Kagome that he is in love with her soon. They both deserve to be happy. They've been through so many similar headaches not to deserve it. 

This chapter was so heartbreakingly sad. Sesshomaru being abandoned by his father, being forced to fight his mother and to say goodbye to his baby sister... I hope that Kagome and Sess are now able to rebuild their relationship. 

It's SOO good to get back into this story again with not one but TWO chapters. Beautifully written as per. I look forward to how Kags and Sess move on from here especially with these new shared vulnerabilities.

I am just a glass case of emotion after this chapter. At work balling over here. That broke my heart. 

Jesus, I should have waited until after work to read that--a bit of a wrenching read for those of us who've experienced infant loss. I think you did warn us but I blasted past it like a fool. 

Aside from that,  thank you for an amazing update, and I'm glad you're doing OK despite being very busy with school. I look forward to reading more in the future but please don't force it; burnout is very real as I can attest.

Oh my goodness! This is so good! I have read some of your other works and have loved each and every one of them (enough that I plan to go back and re-read, which I don't do very often).

The emotional realism of this story creates both heartache and hope. I know you must have tons on your plate with life and the craziness of the world right now, but I do look forward to more tear wrenching and heart lifting moment in the future for ths story...whenever it may come to be updated once again.

My gods this chapter! I love how you make these characters grow and adapt. And this is such a unique way of bringing magic and communication into the story. I can't wait for the next chapter. But, I hope classes are going well.
