Sage, this was such a pleasant read :D I know this it's a simple one-shot but it really did take me by surprise.
It wasn't just Sesshoumaru, you know. It had to be blatantly said before I knew Kagome was training. And, like Sesshoumaru, my dumb ass thought someone was abusing her! Honestly thought it was going to take a dark turn, but I'm so glad it didn't and I love the unexpectedly cute plot twist.
And this part got me laughing out loud:
----“I wanted an excuse to spend time with you.”
He stares at her.
And stares.
And stares.----
Like, he just couldn't even XD
Great story! I love how she keeps letting him stew in his curiousity until he can't stand it anymore.
Just one small correction. Where you use the word perceptible, I think the word you intended is susceptible.
As a human Kagome is susceptible (vulnerable to) injury. Perceptible means "noticeable"
I love your stories, this one is no different.
The only thing I would say to you is to watch your grammar tenses. You switch between present and past and from the way that you write, it seems like it should be in past tense.
Other than that, keep up the good work.

Another awesome oneshot, I loved that Sesshoumaru was absolutely clueless, and their little conversations building up to their final confessions. I always love seeing how they are doing in the future, complete with pups! Thank you for sharing :)
