I love a mature and manly Sesshomaru like this. By manly my definition is quietly confident, a man who speaks through his actions and only clarifies with honest words. He doesn't need to feel insecure because he knows who he is and where he stands and above all, what he wants.

Kagome really deserves a man that tries to meet her halfway.

well I for one love it can't wait to see more, I always felt she had a stronger connectioj to shesshomaru at at least would have a more mature love  and trusting

I loved this, if only because it was so simple and succinct, but I wish it went on and on, and delved into their future together. I just wish they ended up together in canon. Thank you for sharing.
