Myth, this was beautifully written and made me cry!
Every person has their own way of grieving, that Sesshoumaru is not one to break down and cry for days does not mean that he does not feel pain, that he does not feel the loss. You did well with how you described everything in his POV.
The bee petting was a nice idea and that he shared this memory with his beloved mate means so much. I'm glad he let the first tear fall, it's the beginning of a healing process that may take a while. But cherishing those memories keeps our parted ones alive.

You can't possibly imagine how much I'm enjoying your oneshots lately... especially in these somewhat trying times. And I don't just mean the lockdowns and virus garbage, but also the recent announcement that set the Inuyasha world on edge! I find reading all these delightful, squishy oneshots settles my frazzled nerves and helps the turmoil recede into the background.
