Finally! The control freak has snapped! I have my tub of ice cream ready!

I need some ice cream now. Like full on loaded ice cream. Hot fudge, oreo's, marshmellow, etc. Emotional roller coaster over here with these last few drabbles. My heart yearns for more!

Well thank God you brought Grandpa back! I don't think they can take anymore losses. This is a dumb and unimportant question but I do need to ask, lizard youkai? Are you talking about that one youkai Kagome and Shippo asked him to revive that one time? That was an otter not a lizard. Or maybe I missed something earlier in your story? Yeah I know that small detail is very irrelevant to your story, but I am curious.

She's pregnant! Or just stress eating. But hopefully its pregnant. We need fluffy cute puppies! 

You see, I don't see what Kagome did as threatening to kill him but her only trying to scare him. At least that's how I read it. But I'm glad Sesshomaru took responsibilty for his actions because he really isn't completely innocent. I've even said in one of my comments yesterday that Kagome had reason to react the way she did.

I started to type a review for this section, with the fight and then got distracted and never finished...because I'm a space cadet that way.

Oof, that was intense and super painful. Thank you for seeing it through to a resolution point even though it must have been extremely emotionally draining to write.

I love your realistic approach to this. I like that Satomi called Kagome on her selfishness because that's been an issue for awhile. It's hard when someone is consistently strong for you when you are vulnerable not to start taking them for granted. 

He needed a day to roam as his true self. 

Seeing Kagome sleeping against his fur again would bring him peace.

He needed to heal with fresh air and fur. 

He needed to howl to the moon.

First I love this story. I love the development. Now this fight arc....I have to be honest, while many things surrounding the fight could be realistic enough I keep finding myself coming back to the fact that kagome is being blamed for all of it. This just doesnt mesh with how the incident was portrayed. Sesshomaru got the reaction he intended to get just not from the person he intended it to come from. However it was hardly kagome fault that she came upon the scene that appeared as if he intended to attack her mother. While they may be starting to love each other they did not mate for love. She is just simply not going to have that same faith in sesshomaru as she did in inuyasha yet for multiple reasons. There has not been enough time and experience for that type of growth. I found it incredibly cruel for her entire family to turn on her in the manner in which they did. You dont push a drowning man under the water. Mama H shouldnt have involved herself into their fight unless they couldnt resolve it themselves. Is should have been done with more support and less accusation. Truthfully I found them both in the wrong and in the right. They have both just gone through a very traumatic experience that they are grieving from and trying to develope a relationship from a rocky foundation to begin with. She would also be very determined not to lose anyone else she loves, which could make her irrational in her defense of those she loves. It seemed more like sesshomaru got affection for having a tantrum and kagome got thrown under a bus for trying to protect her mother from sesshomaru's tantrum.
